What are people saying about Focus Kontrol

bvssunnydale How can BitsDuJour, this late in the game, fail to tell vendors they must list the license terms? by user? by cpu? 'x' numbers of installs? etc. Frustrating.

Alexander User It is licensed per computer. But as author I'm OK if you use it on all of your computers as long as you don't give copies to all friends and your mum :)

Metta Zetty Just now installed your FocusKontrol demo (from the following URL), and received no less than 3 error messages. -- http://www.supernova-soft...our-focus/

This happened BOTH times I attempted to install and run the demo. For your review, screenshots of all 3 error messages have been sent to your email address.

Would like to test a full working demo before purchasing.

However, the free trial download here on BDJ appears to be identical with the demo file I tried to install previously with no success.

Please advise.

Ronald Jurman Downloaded the demo. Can't seem to get it to do anything.

The 'About' menu displays a nice mini-screen. 'Load set' lets me select the file 'Example1', but nothing actually seems to actually get loaded. 'Add category' and 'Add message to' seem unresponsive (nothing results), nor does 'Preview'. So I can't load or create messages or categories or do previews. I can only look at a non-functional entry screen. Thoughts?

How does one test this?

Alexander User Seems that some windows 8 configurations are problematic and I can't catch what is going on,sorry I can give better answer,I'm trying to trace this bug but on my computers it works correctly and I can only try to guess what might be causing it

Alexander User Him, could it be that you are using non English installation of windows?
If you can contact me on my email so I can send you different versions to try maybe we can work this out if you are willing to cooperate a little :-)

Alexander User Hey Ronald I see you bought it anyway, does that mean it works now?

Desktop Metronome - Nov 29 2017 at 9:18pm Copy Link

Ronald Jurman Yes. It does look to work when run as Admin (admittedly a bit of a pain to go through).

So it may be the case where the program is storing files by default. (Probably better if it used the user's documents directory.) Is that changeable?

Alexander User I'll check that,it might be it,thanks for pointing it out
