What are people saying about Folder Marker Pro + Music Folder Icons Bundle

Philip101 Licensing clarification - as the program is licensed per user, can i install it on all my PCs? Thanks.

Brenda Adams Don't need music icons but would like some others at this price. Any other bundles?
Those half color (two color?) folders, I would sure like some of those!

PS: tried to preview the music icons at your site, but it goes instead to the two color folder's page.

Would like to see your document icons again. My trial expired sooner than it should have.
Would enjoy a folder plus a document bundle. Any plans for that?

Roman, ArcticLine @Philip101, the software is licensed per user/computer basis. I.e. If you have several 2 computers, you need to buy 2 licenses. If you have 2 user accounts on one computer, you need to buy several licenses for each user.

Philip101 Thanks for clarifying. So the version available here is Folder Marker Pro Standard which retails for $34.95 on your website.

We have plans for other bundles, but I can't tell you exactly dates, discounts, etc.

Where exactly?

If you are talking about Business icon set, no, we don't have plans for this set for the nearest time

Howard R Hi there:)

I understand that the software is licensed per user/computer basis.

I will change my computer soon - Do I have the option to deactivate a license on my current computer to activate the software on the new one that I will buy?

Oct 2 2019 at 4:50am Copy Link

Roman, ArcticLine @Howard - Yes. Just uninstall the software on the first computer before you activate it on the second one.

ArcticLine Software - Oct 2 2019 at 4:54am Copy Link

Howard R Thanks Roman - This computer may stop working shortly as i get many error messages. If it breaks down completely and I am unable to uninstall as a result, can your support department help me remove license from one computer to reactivate on my new one? There is not much time to purchase this offer so I would like to buy today if possible.

V M At these rates what is the cost of a lifetime subscription?

Roman, ArcticLine @ Howard, Yes.

@VM, this is not a subscription, this is lifetime license for the current version of the software

Brenda Adams Roman:
Where problem is: http://foldermarker.com/en/buynow/ go down to Music and click...it does not take viewer to Music Icons...instead, it goes to dual color.

re document marker I was referring to (and wanting) is this one
FileMarker.NET Pro -- I tried testing but for some reason it only allowed me a couple of tries...it shut off before I got more than 4 tests (approx) -- would like to extend test. And I asked if this FileMarker and FolderMarker could be, or would be bundled.

And if we don't need Music Icons, will you let us pick another?

Thanks. I have to test lots because I have to see which of my Windows Explorer REPLACEMENT programs will let your icons show up. In past, I had problem with that but I think mine now do...but not sure.

I will buy collections of icons in future...would think price on those collections is a bit high at $19.98. I want them...but I'm too cheap. Will wait for sales.
Please let me test the File Marker a full trial.

V M Perhaps I should have asked about purchasing a life time of updates? I know that some software companies offer this or do you mean to indicate that the normal purchase entitles one to a life time of free updates.

Brenda Adams Just bought this offer. Already had expired Trial...so applied Code to that window. Code was accepted but Music Icons not included. I don't really need music icons, but heck, if the deal included them, I might as well ask for them, right?
Thanks for your lovely program. (I found that I previously bought older version 3 back in 2009.) This IS a really good deal, even if Music icons aren't needed. It comes with lots of others, you can also add your own, and colored folders are included. Again: good deal!

Edited to add: Link for Music Icons just arrived in my email. Thanks!

PS: Sure would like a big discount on those DUAL COLOR folder icons. NICE LOOKING!

Paul Hello,
Is it also possible with Foldermarker to adjust the icons of folders on USB-sticks and will these adjustments remain when the stick is dismounted and visible the next time stick is inserted (on the same computer with Foldermarker installed). And what happens with teh icons when the stick is inserted on an other computer (without folder marker installed)?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

Amit I would like to know when can there be a deal on for FileMarker.NET Pro ? Or any way to get good discount on it too before waiting for deal here at bitsdujour ? But need a good discount only like this very one.
Thanks.

Bertie Brummel The vendor seems to have some trouble. Under my real name - not the alias in use here - I purchased 4 items directly from their website today Now several hours later I've got only 1 reg key (1 more to come) and no download links for software or icon packs.

HJ User 1. I regularly use two desktop computers and one laptop. I am the only one that uses these computers. If I purchase one license, can I install this program on all of my computers?

2 If I copy a marked folder to an external drive, and then copy from there to one of my other computers (on which I have also installed FM), will the folder retain the FM design?

3. If a compress an FM marked folder, and send it to a friend, will that folder have its FM markings on the friend's computer?

4. Does an FM marked folder retain the same image in both open and closed folder states?

5. Does the automate feature permit me to batch create (or batch rename) a series of photos to follow a naming convention such as 1A, 2A, 3A etc?

6. Where a folder contains a group of folders, does the automate feature permit the contained folders to automatically adopt a designated feature of the parent folder?

Bertie Brummel With 1 Day delay I finally got the items mentioned in my post from January 8.The 4 different confirmation messages all had a wrong time stamp. Even worse:

The folks at 2checkout.com still need to learn a lot: Purchased were 2 different software products and 2 different icon packs. However, the mails I received for software / icons both had identic subject lines!: Guess what happens when you try to secure these .TXT files on a backup medium.

John User Roman,

Is this deal available with the Extra Icons pack?
I inquired about this deal after your last Bits-Du-Jour sale... but missed the date because I had issues installing your software.
I emailed you about it at the time.

Thank You,

John M

InterestedParty I keep getting an error message. Tried two different cards, two different browsers - same result. Just to see if something was wrong with the cards I tried to buy another of BdJ's offerings - and it worked perfectly fine there - so issue must be with 2CO and then wanting me to open an account for one purchase. Thanks, but No, thanks!

Bertie Brummel How does one add additional Folder Marker icon sets to the basic installation?

Oct 16 2022 at 1:34am Copy Link

Harry Stadman There are icon tabs( ABC etc.) in Folder Marker Pro. The last one is a + sign. Click on it and you're now able to add additional icons. Just drop the icl file onto Folder Marker and it will install the additional icons.

If the additional icon file is an exe file, just install the file and the additional icons will show up in Folder Marker Pro.

Bertie Brummel @ Harry:

....If the additional icon file is an exe file, just install the file and the additional icons will show up in Folder Marker Pro. ....

Thanks! That's what I expected. However, it doesn't work if a a demo version of the set you want to install is already in Folder Marker's ICL subdir. Then you need to manually remove the demo first.
