John Poole Hi Hans,

There are known issues with processor and memory frequency detection in Windows. These issues are fixed in Geekbench 2.2 which is currently in beta (you can download the Windows beta version here: http://www.primatelabs.ca...-Setup.exe).

13,239 is a good score! My desktop (a Core i7 860) scores ~7,400.

Frank Stephens Newer versions of Windows have a standard Windows Experience Index, which intentionally uses a few simple values as a way to compare PCs. It may even run automatically, I don't recall running it in a long time but it shows a very recent date.

Any portable capabilities ?. When you are buying a new-used pc you often do not have download install options.

There's no "official" portable version, but you can create one simply by copying all of the installed files to a USB drive or to another directory. Geekbench will still work if you do this.
