Virus Scan for GitMind

Pete User Please clarify. At your website, pricing is per month and a subscription for a Personal Plan. And, it looks like a web app on a cloud service.
Q#1. What are you offering here on BitsDuJour for $28? A perpetual license? Is it a desktop or cloud app?

Q#2. What's the future of the desktop app? the cloud app? Will you be discontinuing one or the other? Are they integrated?

Q#3. For mind-mapping, I understand how I can use headlines in a mind-map. But, is there a way to take lots of notes? If 'yes', how? Do you have a video?

soo mi @Echo User: What differentiates your product from the many other mind mapping/concept mapping/etc. products on the market, whether web-based multi-platform products, downloadable & installable products, or hybrids that offer both? From the free to the one-time purchase price to the recurrent fee-based competitors? Essentially, what makes GitMind more competitive/attractive to us so that we should pay for only a 1-year access to your “platform”, especially since we don’t know what your future pricing will be, or if you will still be in business a year from now, two years from now, etc.? And, if you were to cease operating as an online platform, would the downloaded and installed product still function? Also, under the “Fine Print” section of your offering, you only identify Windows 7, 8, and 10, presumably for the downloadable/installable version of your product (I’m ignoring your mention of Windows 9… ). Do you have a timeline for when you will support Windows 11, and will you be releasing an installable version for the Mac? Will you/do you have any plans to introduce native iOS and Android apps, so that GitMind can still be used on mobile devices when there is no cell/WiFi service available, with synchronizing to take place after such services are available again?

soo mi @Echo Use: In addition to my questions above, on your GitMind FAQs page, you have posted: “How to export mind maps on mobile browser?

Sorry, if you want to export, please access GitMind at the desktop browser. We recommend using Chrome and Firefox browsers.”

So, what are the abilities of GitMind, using the installed Windows version, to export the various types of maps/diagrams to a word processing program, a spreadsheet program, a presentation program (e.g., PowerPoint), or a desktop publishing program?

And, you have a “blog” post on how to create a box-and-whisker plot using an editable template provided with GitMind. Do you have any plans to allow for the import of data from a spreadsheet program, so that box-and-whisker plots can be created from the imported data, and the resulting plot continue to be used within GitMind, either as part of an integrated slideshow, or integrated within a mind map?

Echo User @Kimmo Lahtinen: $49 for next year.

@soo mi: With GitMind, you can make mind maps and access your files on any devices. All of changes save to cloud automatically. Sorry, my fault. It supports Windows 11. We already have iOS and Android apps. The mobile apps needs network connection to sync files. But offline editing is in our roadmap.

Echo User @soo mi: 1. You can download GitMind mobile app and export.

2. Yes. With GitMind, users can create mind maps on any devices, and make diagrams without downloading desktop program. And flowchart making is totally free now. Free users can make 10 mind maps but unlimited diagrams/flowcharts.

3. We don't have a plan to allow importing data from spreadsheets yet. We focus on optimizing mind map making experience. Then we will improve the diagram making function. Thanks for your suggestion!
