Free Ride I stopped participating in 1AV giveaways for a long time now, mainly because you could only have one version per program registered on the same account, so if you wanted to have a newer version due to a recent giveaway, you would have to create a completely new account. Is this still the case?

Step-by-Step
----------------------------------------
Trial dialog > Click ‘Register’ > Mark ‘Send key to my e-mail’ > Click ‘Next’ > Then enter the e-mail address you used to register > Then click ‘Send’.

The key is sent to your e-mail address.

After you receive the key you go:

Trial dialog > Click ‘Register’ > Mark ‘Enter key’ > Click ‘Next’ > Then enter the key you have received on your e-mail > Then click ‘Authenticate’.

Norwel Gordon I ordered Sound Recorder. Followed instructions but no email received.

I purchased PC Activity Viewer on same offer. Pay Pal receipt arrived promptly.
But nothing received from 1AV.

The instructions indicate email should arrive within a few minutes.
How long should purchaser have to wait?

JW Installed this and registered it, as per the instructions.
However, the only format it'll record anything in is MP3 (it appears to be locked to that format even though it's now a registered product!).
How can I get it to make itself available in WAV format?

This is sound recording software, the video voice-over is horribly distorted and terrible quality.

Not a great example to promote sound recording software!!

Richy -Downloaded...
-Followed instructions to see video re: how to register..."this video has been removed by the uploader"
-Checked on email; now it's 12 minutes...nothing, nada, zilch!
-Clicked on Offer tab on software "Acquire Lifetime License with Special Discount" and it takes me to page that says: "This link is no longer valid. "
-I tried it on a music video I have stored and nothing happened: it did not record.

So let me get this straight: this looks like an old, old piece of ca-ca software where I'm the circus seal and I'll be jumping through the hoops to get a license/code for it to be free for use.
As soon as someone received this software and you (vendor) receive email address, send the code like IMMEDIATELY, pronto, fast...I have things to do than to sit at my pc and wait...and.wait...and wait...

I will be removing this NOW...see, that was FAST!

Miguel User it doesn't register, every time I put the key, it gets activated, and close automatically the program, and after running the program, it asks to register again, indefinitely.

Rob Nolan Does the account you're logged in under have full admin rights?
If not, then the registry changes from the activation aren't being saved so you have to enter the key again.

Loyal Customer An error report:

Initial testing of the program:
1) It did not create a shortcut, as it was supposed to do. Navigating to the program location & double-clicking the program file did nothing. The program would not run.
Creating a shortcut and attempting to use it to run the program didn't work either.
I then reinstalled the program, and it ran automatically at the end of the installation.
However, after exiting the program and then attempting to run it again didn't work. It won't run.

2) After recording for a couple of minutes, then stopping, then playing, the .wav file was recorded properly.
Pressing the edit button (pencil), however, wasn't a good experience. That popped up an error window that said:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately."
Clicking Continue, popped up the "Audio Split N Trim" window. Clicking any button in that window, popped up the above Error message window again.
3) Back in the main program, right-clicking the .wav file, and selecting Remove, brought up an error message that said "Could not remove file"

I hope the above summary helps the developer.

This program seems to be far from ready to be released.
I'll stick to Audacity.

Loyal Customer Another program issue:
Upon attempting to uninstall, I had the following error message popping up:
"File C:\Program Files (x86)\...\uninstall 000.dat does not exist. Cannot uninstall."
This is despite installing the program twice!!!

Quite a bit of a waste of time and effort.
Thanks to Revo's Forced Uninstall feature, though!
