Even if you offer the lowest prices of those ($99.95) at 50% it is still too much in my opinion.

Compare: I bought Agnitum Outpost SS with 2-years worth or free upgrade for $13.64 a month ago. Now, that is a deal on a security software that is top-notch. The fact that someone knows my IP and can find out where I live does not automatically mean that he can get into my computer.

Hiding my IP can also mess up with some of the more complex software licensing algorythms. I have a sneaking suspicion it will mess up the licensing system of Trados for example, and it will stop working.

HYIP Support Right, that was what I was saying. You get what you pay for. And a lifetime is only good for as long as the company is in business, as the website also says 24/7 Live Help, which shows to be offline. :.)

We are not a software company that offers a proxy service, we are a proxy company that offers a software product. Big difference, and slightly more expensive of course.

Brian H Hi- I am interested in your product, but I have to admit, the price does seem high when one first sees it. To clarify, is the $69.68 for a 3 year license (not just one year)? Big difference" For an uneducated consumer in proxies (like me) would you please explain what the difference is? Also, I am familiar with a program called "Anonymizer Universal". How does this program compare to that one? Thanks. :-)

Dylan Connors Product purchase allows use for 12 months. Licensed per computer for non-concurrent use only

Vendor stated this is for a 3 yr license on Wednesday. It's now Friday and policy shows 1 yr for 1 computer. So policy has not changed.

Cheryl Rutherford I purchased this software over a year ago, more like2 years ago and I had to remove it as it slowed my PC down quickly. I could not run more than 2 things at a time and I had an HP i5 8GB memory computer with all the best stuff on it. I could not believe it.

However, it does do the job and the interface is really nice in that you can actually choose your IP and the country you want to be known from.

JUST REMEMBER: this slows down your processing A WHOLE LOT, more than I could handle. So, if you do not have a fast PC, then I hate to say this, you might look elsewhere, but MOST of these types of software, I have tried, and they all do the same thing: SLOW THE PROCESSING SPEED WAY DOWN.

Techtoysavvy @Brian H. Let me see if I can explain.

There are many proxy servers in the world. Some are free and some are for paying subscribers. There is software which looks for (other peoples) proxy servers and trys to route your request through a free service. These free services have all sorts of limitations.

A proxy company would run their own servers and hopfully provide a better experience which scales to the size of their customer base. These servers would run 24/7 and support some features that are essential for users that care about these things. A discussion of these features is a separate topic.
