You’ve built some killer HTML applications, but you know you’re missing out on an audience of users who would rather be able to run stuff on their computers without an Internet connection. Out of luck? Not if you pick up today’s discount software promotion, HTML Compiler!

HTML Compiler lets you compile HTML applications into standalone executable files that can be run in Windows without dependencies. With HTML Compiler, you never have to worry about losing control of your files, since none of them are ever extracted onto local computers. Best of all, the program is fully customizable and features dozens of interface themes.

Lack technical expertise? Not a problem with HTML Compiler! Just take advantage of either an intuitive GUI or the command line to compile your HTML applications in seconds – just point HTML Compiler to the location of the index file for your HTML application and let the program go to work!

franp User NHi,

Can HTML Compiler run things like deeply system integrated html+node.js apps ?

David Esperalta Hello franp,

Certainly I am not an expert in node.js, so honestly I am not quite sure about how to answer you. Probably we can interact with a node.js server if they is already running, however, our HTML application runs under a "local mode" way, better said, HTML Compiler uses certain Internet Explorer protocol that, among other things, offer us the ability to never extract the HTML application's files into the user computer. So maybe you can try by yourself and contact me if you think I can help you in some way.

Guy User Hi,

Does your HTML compiler work with HTML5, audio, video? In my tests on win10, nothing works! Is there any special instruction to make it work?
Thank you sir.

David Esperalta Hello Guy,

You can deal with HTML5 audio/video if the audio and video sources are online, not "locally" to the application. This is not a limitation of HTML Compiler, but the protocol behind the program. This protocol, on the other hand, is what we use in order to never extract the application's files on the user computer.

To deal with audio/video in HTML Compiler we can take at least two alternatives: use remote audio/video sources and open/reproduce the audio/video files from HTML Compiler using the appropiate external Javascript functions provided by the program, as you can see in the program's help file.

If you have any futher question, please, don't hesitate to post it here or contact me.

Nelson Therrien Does it compile PHP files, like WordPress sites, ecommerce sites, etc.?

David Esperalta Hello Nelson,

Thanks for your comment. HTML Compiler do not support PHP scripts and maybe can't support it in the future, since something like that implied more than an standalone executable. We need an HTTP server, a PHP interpreter, etc.

Metta Zetty Delighted to see this great software on sale at BDJ! Highly recommended, and David's support is exceptional! :-D

FYI, I just now sent you a private email message to inquire about upgrading an earlier, older version of the compiler.

Dexter Bell Great stuff!
I downloaded the trial and converted the HTML5 source for a rather intricate Android and iOS program (using PhoneGap) All the JavaScript and JQery worked well. One problem with using the JQuery .load function, was solved by putting the content of the files to be loaded (20MB worth) right into the main index.html file as divs and then moving them to a visible div when needed.
Don't know yet if the compiler will end up creating viable, saleable programs for Windows yet but it is certainly promising.

And the support shown here is really heartening.

David Esperalta Thanks Dexter. In fact HTML Compiler is not thinked to convert complicated existing applications, but, to start certain HTML application from scratch, then, we can use the advantages of the program (for example, the program allow us to read and write files, etc.), taking care about the possible limitations.

P.S. If I am not wrong you ordered an HTML Compiler license here in BitsDoJour. Please, look at your mailbox, since I send you an email in order to confirm your user information then I can prepare your program license.

Dexter Bell "In fact HTML Compiler is not thinked to convert complicated existing applications, but, to start certain HTML application from scratch,"

I still have a lot of testing to do, but being able to use the same code used for PhoneGap (Android / iOS) apps to create Windows based apps is a terrific plus.
I love programs that are so well designed they do things that they were not specifically designed to do.

I will let you know how it goes.
Dexter
PS: this is the code that I'm converting: www.kickassshakespeare.com/sim-glossary/

David Esperalta Thanks Dexter. Well. In fact HTML Compiler probably can convert certain applications and websites "as is", however, I don't like to sold like that. The program is designed to create HTML applications from scratch, using the useful external Javascript than the program provides.

Of course we can reuse HTML code, use CSS frameworks and others, and maybe also convert "as is" entire existing applications or websites. But I certainly don't want to promise something than maybe can't be reached by this (and probably any other) program, even if we wanted or needed. Anyway, I hope you enjoy HTML Compiler and they are useful for you Dexter!
