HJ B What is the difference between using this and using a free google phone number?

RMS Can this app be transferred when you update to a new phone so it's truely for life, or does the "install within 6 months" condition preclude that?

Dec 11 2019 at 8:04am Copy Link

Hushed App Yes! This offer is provisioned to your specific Hushed account just like any other Hushed numbers - meaning it will also be transferrable by device.

As long as you log in to the same Hushed account (on whichever phone), you'll have access to your lifetime number claimed!

RMS Very good. Thanks for the clarification.

Hushed App Hi Dona - Hushed is only available to use as a mobile app at the moment...but maybe keep an eye out for a web client in the future :)

Bill User I bought this once and failed to use thye number for 6 months so I lost it all. Can I buy again seeing how "one per customer" shouldn't apply since I no longer have what was a really great lifetime number.

Joel Dubow Can Hushed App receive International Calls?
Can it make international Calls?

Jun 24 2020 at 3:30am Copy Link

Hushed App Hi Joel, any numbers selected on this Lifetime Number offer are able to make and receive domestic (local) calls and texts. US and Canada Lifetime Numbers can call and text other US/Canada numbers, and UK numbers can call and text with other UK numbers. We do offer an International Worldwide Plan as well that allows international calls and texts, though it's not a lifetime offer. Please don't hesitate to contact our support team at support

hushed.com for any questions! Thanks

Charles Hall Is there an option to add a data plan? The description only mentions minutes and texts.

What is the cost of renewing the number at the end of one year and how many minutes etc. are included with the renewal?

A B Same Question. What is the renewal cost at the end of 1 year. There isn't much in the fine print in this deal.

Feb 7 2021 at 5:36pm Copy Link

Constantin Florea @A B, I've just contacted the vendor regarding both your questions.

BitsDuJour Admin - Feb 8 2021 at 4:02am Copy Link

njf Looking at the old conversation, the only question that was not answered is how much is the annual renewal cost. How much is it?

Nov 23 2021 at 2:19am Copy Link

LU I see the app is lifetime. I purchase a while ago and yet it asks for a subscription.

I am trying to clarify what Lifetime means.

I see this in the fine print of this website: "You must install/register the software within 6 months, and cannot do so afterwards."

Does that mean, if I get a new phone 7 months after purchasing this app, I will have to pay again to use it?

Wolfman Can you use it just for text by disabling incoming calling features?

Eros If I purchase a US number but I am not in the US or CA at the moment, will I still be able to make/receive calls or use SMS to and from US or CA?

Nov 24 2021 at 2:32am Copy Link

njf Seems like the developer isn't interested in engaging with prospective purchasers. Probably indicative of their post-sales support.

E User As far as I'm concerned, a company's customer support is indicative of the reliability of it's product. The fact that this company has not responded to a single inquiry posted here speaks volumes. I will never purchase a product from a company that is negligent of its customer support. I suggest you do the same.

Redstar333 If you buy a U.K. Hushed number be aware that it will not work to call a lot of standard rate U.K. landline numbers because they are incorrectly classified as premium by Hushed’s service provider (Hushed have confirmed this). Hushed refuse to refund your purchase so you will be stuck with a limited product. It does seem to work ok for calling U.K. mobile numbers.
