Robert Chan Can the line reader be longer than 150?

Constantin Florea @ Robert

Sure. The trial version of Line Reader allows only 150 pixels in width and 150 pixels in height but the full version allows up to 2048 pixels in width and 2048 pixels in height which is over the width and height of many displays.

Andreas Hoffmann Hi Roger,
if I want to buy more than one product at a time, the coupons aren't correctly deducted in the cart... Just one coupon, the price of the rest is normal. Have I done something wrong or do I have to order each product separately?
Thanks in advance + greetings - Andreas

Constantin Florea @ Andreas

Hi Andreas, you would have to buy each product separately because each product has an associated buy now link and most importantly: an associated coupon code. We had to use different coupon codes for each product because of the small differences in percentage discounts. Since our shopping cart allows only one coupon code at a time this is the reason why you will be able to buy one discounted product at a time.

Hi Milan, today only you can get UltimaCalc at $10.50 and after today's promotion you will be able to get it at $29.95. This is the only product in the bundle with the retail price of $29.95 and a discounted price of $10.50.

The other tools have mostly smaller retail prices as follows:

- Line Reader usually sold at $19.50 can now be purchased at $7.00

Cute Context Menu does not run on Windows Vista or Windows 7

The other two products you've mentioned: "Line Reader" and "Window Nudger" work both in Windows Vista and Windows 7 (both 32 and 64 bit versions)

Constantin Florea For a complete platforms list please notice the following:
- Line Reader, Window Nudger, Clipstory and UltimaCalc work with XP, Vista, and Windows 7- both 32 and 64 bit versions
- Cute Context Menu does not work in Windows Vista or Windows 7

Lupke Brother Your website says UltimaCalc works on XP and Vista. What about 7?
Dec 22 2011 at 11:20am Copy Link

Constantin Florea @Lupke Brother, Thanks for noticing this. UltimaCalc works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. For Vista and Windows 7 it works on both 32 and 64 bit operating systems.

The product page here:
http://www.iconico.com/ultimaCalc/
does show only Windows XP and Vista but the download page here:
http://www.iconico.com/do...ultimaCalc
shows the correct platform information.

I've made a note and we'll update the product page with the Windows 7 information as well in the next update of the web site.

None OfYourBusiness I note in the forum that Cute Context Menu does not work on Win7 64-bit. Understandably, as it's apparently a 32-bit app which cannot update 64-bit context menus.
Do any of the other utilities have the same problem, causing context menu items not to show up under Win7 64-bit?
Dec 25 2011 at 5:14am Copy Link
0
Constantin Florea @Aad All other utilities (except for Cute Context Menu) work on Windows XP, Vista (x32, x64) and Windows 7 (x32, x64). Based on what I know, these utilities (except for Cute Context Menu) do not have system context menu integration but many of them have Windows tray integration and associated context menus available there which do work both in 32 and 64 bit operating systems.

Cute Context Menu works only for Windows XP.

Is it only the the tools that cost $29.95 there is a discount on ?

Constantin Florea @Trucker G All the titles mentioned in the description above are offered on a big discount during today's promotion. When you press the Buy Now button you will see the regular price of each title and the discounted price for that title.

Constantin Florea @HJ B Thanks for noticing and posting about this. It is fixed now. Please press CTRL + F5 to refresh the page from server and try again to download Window Nudger using the Download button.

Or you can simply click this URL below to download the application:

Constantin Florea @HJ B Line Reader runs on Windows XP, Vista (x32, x64) and Windows 7 (x32, x64). However there are applications similar to ZoneAlarm which prevent Line Reader to correctly acquire the mouse movements or key strokes it needs to function correctly. In cases like this I would suggest setting up those applications to allow Line Reader to acquire the mouse and keyboard strokes. Are you running such an application by any chance?

Also, would it be possible to try and run the Line Reader application as an Administrator by right clicking its icon and then choosing 'Run As Administrator'?

Stephen Cohen I have a paid, earlier version of UltimaCalc. Your Web site states that all future updates are free. How do I install the update using my existing registration?

Also what extras does UltimaCalc Pro include?
Dec 25 2011 at 7:41pm Copy Link
0
Constantin Florea @Stephen. For UltimaCalc alone I need to send you by email the new setup file you can use to upgrade to the newest version.

I will have to get back to you regarding the UltimaCalc Pro extra features.
BitsDuJour Admin - Dec 26 2011 at 12:29am Copy Link

Constantin Florea @Stephen The only difference between the normal and the Pro version is that the Pro version does symbolic maths. So for example it will calculate (a-b)(a+b) as a^2-b^2, rather than doing a numeric calculation. (Here, ^2 represents a superscripted 2, i.e. squaring.)

It also does calculus, factorise polynomials etc.

Eustace Phenackertiban Hmm.. so, how does this work? "A la carte" usually means to pick and choose among alternatives, paying for each separately. Is that what this deal means? So, not all of the alternatives are actually $3.50, right? And when the deal goes live, how will we specify which app we want? Oh, and what's the deal with UltimaCalc Pro? I couldn't find a description of that; how is it different from the "standard" version? Thanks.
Dec 30 2013 at 12:07am Copy Link
0
Constantin Florea @Eustace Phenackertiban - You are correct, each application has its own price. The $3.50 is the lowest price and its for Windows Nudger. Also, to purchase at least two applications from the offer, you would need to purchase them separately because the associated Buy Now links have different coupon codes (specific to each application).

Chris I have some of these programs already. What I want to know Constantin is if you abandoned these as none have been updated in a fortnight. Will Screen Tracing Paper and any of the others work on Windows 10? I have Windows 10 on a new laptop that I am getting ready to switch to from this Windows 8.1.
If you have stopped development on all of the programs, what good is the lifetime upgrades for?

Thanks.....

Nov 8 2017 at 12:52am Copy Link

Constantin Florea @Chris, I am sorry for missing your question. Yes, we tested it and Screen Tracing Paper works on Windows 10.

Except for Cute Context Menu (which works up to Windows XP), all our programs work under Windows 10.
