Godfrey Ko The license key allows you to install the software for a maximum of 5 times, so if you simply need to reinstall on a new PC, there won't be any problem. If for some reason you need to re-install the software more than 5 times, you can contact us and explain the reason, for us to re-enable your license key again.

Christian User Thank you for your answer that is very clear and precise.
I pay for all licenses of softwares that I use but I don't like
to ask again the authorization to use a software for which I paid....
I prefer that the surveillance of the licenses practices solely on the number
of machines using the software simultaneously.....
What a shame because I was interested by your product !

Actually if you only need to contact us if you happen to re-install the software for more than 5 times. If you just need to re-install once on a new machine, as you described in your message, you won't notice any restrictions at all.

And we do have Site License / Unlimited License available, for users who need to install the software on multiple machines, and used by multiple users.

Christian User Yes I understand, but under pretext of struggle against the piracy,
it is always the honest customer who must justify itself.
Why not to have put a system that increments again the counter of the licenses automatically if the delay between two demands of reactivation
is sufficiently long (2 years for example... middle delay of renewal of the material)
The license that you propose is not a definitive license, it is only a renting for 5 uses (2,5 if one uses a pc and a laptop at a time) !!!

Bxxxx Oxxxx I agree with Christian.
I would buy iiCreator if it had the same simple and powerful licensing as the very successful www.coffeecup.com software. = no internet activation at all.
(just one example )
This shows that professional simplicity can be combined with successful sales.

Godfrey Ko Thanks for all the inputs.

With the current version, Internet activation is not compulsory -- i.e. we do allow users to use the software as soon as they enter the correct key, even at that moment no Internet is available. We only log the key once, when Internet connection is available.

For Christian's example, i.e. if the delay between two demands of reactivation is 2 years, the user won't experience any problem at all, as he is allowed to reinstall the software for up to 5 times, without any limit on time.

We will also look at the license model Christian suggested, i.e. automatic increment of the counter within a certain time period. Thanks for the suggestion.

Zoran Paljevic Christian, you're absolutely right! Here: (iiCreator support) "We checked our activation record, you have activated the software twice already. If you need to install on more than one computer, you should purchase Site or Corporate License. For this case, we have reset the activation record for this key now." iiCreator says : "..for this case.." making you uncomfortable to ask again and "..now.." which means - not tomorrow or maybe not tomorrow. I do not feel comfortable too despite I'm probably first ever iiCreator user who purchased.

Yes, the publishers of software don't realize of the number of purchasers that they lose when the conditions of activation of their software are too restraining and unjustified !!!

When you first reported the issue several days ago, I also clicked the I Want This button for this promotion as well as for another promotion which started yesterday and I did not receive the notification email for any of these two. I just added an issue in our Issues Tracker so may fix this with a higher priority.

Bxxxx Oxxxx Much of this can be done directly in Adobe Fireworks and it is exported as js+css+htm+png. This can be used on unlimited number of websites
(of course )
There are probably many other solutions around. It would be interesting to hear about other suggestions.
There is a need for iiCreator and I do hope that this offer comes back with modified license terms.

Zoran Paljevic Bxxxx Oxxxx : Licence terms only? What about responsiveness? iiCreator is simple iMapBuilder evolution to HTML5, nothing else. I see nothing changed in many years now and that's a shame. Kids are making (cannot tell website, policy reasons) terrific plugins for this purpose which are multifunctional, more detailed AND responsive as any website of today is supposed to be. Have you seen iiCreator output on mobile devices? Just correct me if I'm wrong.

Ralph Bressler Is it true that a license is only good for one domain? I create website primarily for small, non-profit groups. I cannot afford $70 per domain and really don't even know which domain I might use this on! I thought this was an interesting application and was about to buy it but the restrictions seem too severe.

Petr I watched the demo. Interesting.
At your website, you have a Starter version, which is what's on sale here at BitsDuJour AND the Standard version. I don't understand the difference?

Can you please explain what the three additional features of the Standard version do?

#1. Category Legend

#2. Export to Image. Does the Starter version not export to a PNG or JPG?

#3. Instant Sharing

#2: Export To Image - It allows your to export your interactive image into static image for inserting into document. It's not available in STARTER version.

#3: Instant Sharing - This feature allows you to upload your interactive image to our cloud server for easy sharing to other, this is very useful especially for user without web hosting. It's not available in STARTER version.
