Serious Noize Thank you for the quick reply Alex Ferri. I'm using the trial version and it recognizes my camera and can add it, but it's not displaying anything. The light on my Webcam isn't on and there's nothing showing. I'm using a Microsoft Lifecam VX-5000. I've tried running the software as Adminstrator but that didn't seem to change anything. I know the camera works because I can view it in other software's. I guess this camera isn't supported?

Alex Ferri Were you able to view it on the Preview window? If not then maybe it is already in use by another application. If it is not being used by any application you should be able to view it on the Preview window. Also if it previews but shows only a black video then try changing the camera settings.

If you haven't closed Multiple Camera Monitor then simply enter the Name and Key above.

If you have closed Multiple Camera Monitor then start Multiple Camera Monitor and click the 'Register' button that appears on the first dialog that shows when Multiple Camera Monitor is not yet activated, then mark the option 'Enter REGISTRATION-KEY', click 'Next', and enter the REGISTRATION-KEY above.

Click 'Authenticate' and Multiple Camera Monitor will be permanently licensed to you.

Please note that this REGISTRATION-KEY will only work on the PC that generated the request, the computer with the HARDWARE-FINGERPRINT: D11F-0140.

Alex Ferri Response to William Turner: Your KEY was not sent by our system so I assume you haven't requested it. The process is simple:

Step-by-Step

Trial dialog > Click ‘Register’ > Mark ‘Send key to my e-mail’ > Click ‘Next’ > Then enter the e-mail address you used to register > Then click ‘Send’.

The key is sent to your e-mail address.

After you receive the key you go:

Trial dialog > Click ‘Register’ > Mark ‘Enter key’ > Click ‘Next’ > Then enter the key you have received on your e-mail > Then click ‘Authenticate’.

William Turner Yes filled out the registration form they said an email will be sent out, none received. But i did as you requested me and registered it from inside the program itself and it worked.

Serious Noize Thank you Alex Ferri. I was able to get my registration number. I filled out the information on the site to get the registration number. It never arrived, but I followed your instructions by selecting registration and then "Send Key To My Email" and it right away.

I am still have a problem with my camera no displaying in the software. I can add it, but when I select it there it only shows a black screen and the light on my Web Cam is not turned on, at that point if I select "Add" to add the camera it shows a white screen with the words "Connection to Camera Ok".

I'm using Windows 10 latest version and a Microsoft Lifecam VX-5000.

I've tried disabling my antivirus but that didn't change anything. I looked in the Windows 10 settings and made sure that Camera was on and Microphone was on, it shows a Win32WebViewHost under the Camera settings as turned on.

This Camera seems to work fine for everything else. I was just curious what could possibly be causing the problem, or if you had any idea's on what it might be?

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and updating the Web Cam's drivers.

Alex Ferri E-mail services like hotmail, gmail, and others sometimes take a long time to deliver an e-mail. Let me know the user name you registered under and if you requested a KEY I will have it on my end and send it to you. Besides, after registered as a customer you don't have to worry about the end of the promotion. You have posted an order and you can request keys whenever you want and one year of free updates.

I have the same problem -> no Lifecam image (USB cam) but other cam software works with my cam. I am a HW Test Engineer and have tried all the things I can to enable an image. This is not an image adjustment image. It appears you don't support this cam.

Stephen Brown Every time I try to log in to my PCWinsoft it says I've not created a password. I fill in the password fields, but still am unable to gain access to my account to retrieve the activation code. This has happened for several different applications I've installed over the last year.

sirron cox This software is supposed to install to the Program files (x86) folder, but will not run without access to the Documents folder, which it should not need to be able to run without "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application." occurring because it's trying to access files in your documents folder. I use OneDrive to sync my documents and I don't need or want programs that feel a need to run outside of it's installed location or take into consideration that people may not want a bunch of files on another computer that does not have that program installed on it.

Gary Smith Installs and registers fine, but when I do the Preview part, I get an error:
ScreenBackTrackerServer has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

In all my years, Windows has never notified me that a solution is available, so I am not expecting that will be the solution. So, is this a known problem, and if so, is there a solution from PCWinSoft? Thanks.

Mike Olver Alex, it's happening whether I try and run a scan and connect any of my 3 different type IP cameras and happens when I simply try to connect my USB Logitech camera, even if I do manual settings, or auto.. .soon as I add it, it displays the error and shuts down.

Mike Olver Alex, some new info for ya, so even if just open the program, and I don't add any camera, and close the program, I get the error right away. This is my first time ever commenting here and never have this problem. I'm a computer super user, I tested program compatibilty, tried shutting down mediaportal server, and any other server services not related to your program. Ran it as administrator, and still the same error. Somewhere you have a bad function call. I'm running Win10 Home, 64-bit. 32Gb Ram, Intel 4790K, GTX 1060

Mike Olver Alex, I find this strange, but after using "process explorer" to dissect your what your program is doing when it is running, I find it odd that for your exectuable "ScreenBackTrackerServer.exe" it tries to run a 'command line':

I do have IObit adblocker on my internet, so I turned it off, still get the error, but why is a 'registered' app trying to run this command line, and could this be the problem? Also, when the error pops-up, before clicking 'ok' to close program, process explorer is showing ScreenBackTrackServer.exe has an 'access denied' upon execution. Possibly a folder security issue somewhere during your installation script? Food for thought.

Step-by-Step

Trial dialog > Click ‘Register’ > Mark ‘Send key to my e-mail’ > Click ‘Next’ > Then enter the e-mail address you used to register > Then click ‘Send’.

The key is sent to your e-mail address.

After you receive the key you go:

Trial dialog > Click ‘Register’ > Mark ‘Enter key’ > Click ‘Next’ > Then enter the key you have received on your e-mail > Then click ‘Authenticate’.

Norwel Gordon I followed the rather complex on line procedure over four hours ago and received a pop up message stating an email had been sent to my email address. Waited over an hour. No email response. I tried again from their program and again it advised an email has been sent. Still no email or key.
In that interval I have received immediate responses from other contacts at my same email address.

rob federer got mine by using the register from the program,,,,,have to use the same e-mail adress that was initially used but not sure whether it corrects you if you have entered the wrong or different one

Since I have all cams hooked up to one computer and all the other comps (6) can still access the cameras even when I have the service comp logged off. Gives me the ability to view the cams anywhere on my network through any compatible application or browser by I.P.

Alex Ferri if you request the key and it gets stuck it is possibly your anti-virus or firewall blocking the connection attempt to my server.
