Since it can be used only 1 year, is it actualized as soon as ebay changes it's format (and I suppose they will do this once a while to prevent this kind of bindding)?

After this year: How much does a renewal cost? Is there a discount for former users?

Software Guy This is useful software if you bid on ebay. The software runs on your machine so your machine must be on at bid time. But it does free you to do other things when the auction ends - which is when all of the action happens.
If you are not an ebay regular, you might ask why??? because placing a bid early allows others to slowly pick away at your bid and drive the price up. It also allows for shill bidding - that is where the seller has his friends drive up the price of an item using special tactics to carefully not exceed your maximum bid. Last minute bidding prevents these from happening. This software makes you an instant bidding expert - at least for the process.
Auction Sniper Pro is annual license software because the vendor must change it as ebay changes their auction formats. In the past the renewal has been $9.95. Some may not like this format BUT think of it another way - it can save you far more than $9.95 and free your time in the event that you have other things to do (like work, school activity, are in transit etc) when the auction goes off.
Granted, there are the thrill junkies that love to get the heart racing by placing a last minute bid in the closing seconds of an auction to see if they can win using their well developed sniping techniques - they bid for sport. By using this software some of the excitement of thrill bidding is lost - but for the rest of us it is a great convenience.

But you can choose to install and run both, they will behave as two separate program, i.e, the data is not shared between them.
