Bryan Turner The files are saved in .jpg format.

Once saved on your hard drive, you are free to manipulate them in any utility that will edit a JPEG.

It does not plug-in to Photoshop directly.

Louis H I already own various filter plug-ins that do somewhat similar conversions, but this is a nice stand-alone way to achieve these results.

My problem is that while the comic book part of the bundle runs fine in the demo, the layout for the Photo Color part of the bundle has a portion of the right side menu of options cut off. It's pretty intuitive and I was certainly able to convert photos, but it is quite irritating and frustrating to have this visual bug present.

Any help in how to fix this situation before the discount goes into effect would be appreciated.

Mary Wilson It is a very cute program, but hard to evaluate due to the fact that they put two big red line in the middle of the converted coloring page. Also found that the clean up of the picture after conversion is not the greatest, but it it not horrible. Even after clean up, it leaves a lot of shading on the pictures. Was thinking of getting it to make coloring pages for children of church,but due to having problems with the quality, I am having my doughts on how well the pages look after a conversion. Do you have some pictures to show a photo and a coloring page without the red lines so that you can accurately decided if the quality will meet your needs.

can you send me a screen shot of what you are seeing.
I am looking at the program, and I don't see any part of a menu cutoff. If I can recreate it, I will certainly correct it before it goes live.

One thought what is your screen resolution? The program is optimized for 1024X768 or higher and the window should re adjust the layout when you re-size or maximize the screen.

I know the red lines are a pain but we had to put something in place to keep people from stealing the program. If you go to www.kidware.net and click on the "photo color" button then click "Sample Images" and also click the "photo color deluxe" button and then click "sample images" you can get an idea of how the images will look.

I think I found the issue. I was able to go to the comic function, maximize the screen, then go back to the coloring converter tab, and some of the buttons on the right were covered by the picturebox.

I have corrected that and placed the new setup file in the download folder.

Sorry I was not able to get back online in time to send you some screenshots, but you did indeed fix the problem without them! :)

Everything is working fine now in the demo version. The issue I was having is fully resolved.

Thank you for exploring the issue even without further assistance from me. It demonstrates, at least to me, a level of commitment behind your program that says if the user has a problem, he or she will not be abandoned or ignored. Unfortunately not every programmer or company appears to have your same work ethic now-a-days.

So thank you again, for finding and providing a quick resolution to the problem.

quite nice standalone app,
1. but one thing really missing (or didn't I find it?)
a) photo color deluxe:
a preview optior all actions (not only the aujustment of image
contrast)
- e.g. for grey-removal (clean-tool)

b) and the same for comic makder pro
- preview for image contrast, rgb levels, black level, edges

c) - or at least multiple undo - steps (best would be preview and multiple undo)

can such features be exprected next time?

2. what kind of license-type?

Bryan Turner You buy the key one time, and any enhancements or upgrades are no charge.

I will take a look at your suggestions, and see if I can implement them in the program. But currently, there is not multiple undo, just revert to original image, and a preview is not available because I haven't figured out how to make it fast enough. I tried to implement a prievew window but it took the same length of time as converting the image so I left it out.

I am looking into ways to shrink an image to a thumbnail for a quick preview but I am not there yet.

thank you for fast responding. I think, even if preview or undo's are not faster than the really conversion, it would be helpful, because it often happens, that one tries an additional change in e.g. color adjusting, blacklevel,.. and if the result than is not satisfying, all steps before are gone too by just going back to the original.
So even íf previews and undos are not fast, it will be faster than trying to figure out the adjustments of the steps one liked - and which at the moment are gone if one has to revert, because of a additional "bad" step

May this be imaginable?

Louis H Sadly, the lack of multiple Undo steps is the deal breaker for me today. I like the program, was happy to have the visual bug fixed, and wanted to find a way to justify adding it to my graphics toolbox, but before it would be worth the investment for me, at this time, I would need to be able to step backwards without having to start over again from the beginning.

Thanks all the same for offering it here today. If you ever do implement a multiple Undo feature and this discount comes up again I will reconsider.

Bryan Turner These are good points. Next time around, I will try to make sure it has some form of preview, additional levels of undo, and also a save conversion settings so if you find a setting you like, t will remember it.

May take awhile to get all that in but I will see what I can do .

Bryan Turner Last time I put this on the deal of the day someone had asked for some undo functions vs just reverting to the original.

Just a note, the coloring page maker has 30 levels of undo and the comic converter has 30 levels of undo on the window where you click on the image to tweak it individually.

I hope people find this useful.

Michael R. On your website left there is a little picture about Comic Maker Pro, which shows some bubbles assigned to persons on the pictures, i.e. the usual way to assign text to certain persons on the picture.

I can't find in the sample-pictures. There were only headlines at the top and the bottom of the pictures.

Also I can't find this feature in the demo-program. But I have to admit I just downloaded it and there was not much time left to check this out...

So, do you your program has this bubble-feature? And if not, do you have concrete plans to implement it in a soon coming (free) update?

It does not have that functionality. That was a button created by a graphics firm for the website.

The intent is in no way to be misleading.

I will take a look at what it would take to get a bubble caption function in place and see if I can implement it.

I think that would be cool to have as well.
