Stefan Hauber Looks like a quite Interesting software.

I suppose your program will run from inside windows. What happens if a nice user powers the computer off and restarts it again. Will he be able to work with windows without Kiosk Software?

Does the description above match with the price, i.e. as it seems the price $27,60 is the price of the light-version; is the light-version able to do all the described features and if not, which described featured does it not include?

I'm thinking about to use it to let it run on a quite old xp-computer for some people without internet-access and practically no computer experience; limited perhaps to view a DVD and writing and printing some word-files. (Kind of like in the old days, when you power on your computer and run your few program without having to care about all the today's internet-dangers).

Is that possible or do I need internet-access to register?
How easy is it to de-register (does uninstall automatically deregister) and install your tool on another computer?

Will KioskSoftware be able to run with win8 without additional payment for an upgrade?

Kiosk software replaces Windows shell. By default it runs in limited Windows account, created by our software, which you can configure the way you like - decide what is available to user, hide or limit access to drives, configure Windows-like start menu etc. Software starts with Windows, and can be turned off with a password by administrator.

It can be registered offline, just mention it when contacting us at office

antamedia.net. Licensing is per computer, we grant transfer in case of computer issues, malfunctions, and according to the fair terms of use.

We believe that it will be fully compatible with Win8 with current installer, and we will certainly update if needed, and provide it to existing users free of charge.

Mark Hardy Would this be suitable to secure a POS till in a retail environment? The tills don't need web access but would require the ability to open the POS applications using a the touch screen interface.

If it was suitable then we would be looking at 250+ units of the Lite edition.

Unfortunately, I couldn't make a purchasing decision of several thousand pounds in the 20 hours remaining of this deal. Is there any possibility of honouring the deal following a successful trial period?

a) Can kiosk-mode easily be switched on and off?

b) Let's say I have KioskSoftware installed on my laptop and there is one short event, where I want to use it on my desktop and after that switch the license back to my laptop.

How would this short-time-transfer work?

Antamedia mdoo You will press CRTL ALT SHIFT K, enter admin password, and Kiosk will be switched to setup mode, from where you can close it.

When you finish desired actions, you can start Kiosk software again to enter protected mode.

Julian Hadlow Is this promotion just for the Lite version? Down the bottom of the page is says:

Kiosk Software - Enterprise Edition ($124.50)

Now, I can look at it two ways:
1/ The obvious way of looking at it is that it means I can buy the different versions at the prices stated.

2/ A different meaning is that it says today's offer INCLUDES those license types. Meaning if I pay $34.50, I should a get a license for all four versions.

Which is it??

Adam Bridge Website suggests that software runs under Windows 8 and 10 but only up to 7 here. Can someone definitely confirm it runs under later versions ?

Antamedia mdoo Adam, software is compatible on later Windows, including Win10. Two network cards are not needed for regular deployment, only when Antamedia Hotspot is being used along with it on the same machine. Ctrl alt del K disables Kiosk and opens the setup GUI. When clicked on X (top right), it closes Kiosk and launches Windows Expolorer again which opens taskbar. This is how it's programmed. If you followed the same steps, it could be that something interfered launching taskbar.
