You can customize that pop-up any way you like - fonts, colors, sounds, even photos that remind you of where you need to go (like that guy with short term memory loss in Memento).

And on the other hand, Kirby Alarm Pro features an automated task management tool that can be scheduled to launch any application, send emails, transfer files via FTP, run backups, and shutdown or reboot your computer at any date and time that you specify. “EVERYTHING Ian writes in the publisher description is TRUE, and a lot more. I've used Kirby Alarm Pro for over three years and have never encountered a bug. this is exacty what I was looking for at the moment. But I saw that the last update was almost two years ago. So is this a finished product or are you still working on it and planing updates? Will this work without problems with Windows 7? Thanks.

Thanks for the enquiry!
I have recently upgraded my computer to running windows 7 64 bit.
Kirby Alarm is running just fine but with a couple of exceptions that I have only just found out about.
The shutdown, restart, and ability to run as a service are not working on windows 7 64 bit (I don't know about windows 7 32 bit).
Rest assured though that when an update is released you will not be charged.

True, I have been busy and have not had any time to spare.
I hope this does not sound the wrong way, but now that I am using windows 7 64 bit, the shutdown and service options not working has effected my own personal use of Kirby Alarm. (I get KA to restart my computer each night and backup to an external hard drive). It is therefore now become vital for me to fix this as soon as possible.

Ian Cook I have got the shutdown, restart, and logoff functions working.
Still working on the ability to run as a service..

I will release an update as soon as possible.
The update will be made available to all users free of charge, regardless of when they purchased Kirby Alarm Pro.

Michael R Since I'm working on different computers at home (sometimes the laptop, sometimes the desktop) and all are hanging on a LAN, mainly to have access to the Internet: Is it possible to set an alarm on one computer and have the kirby-datas to be updated on all the others in the LAN automatically?

So, e.g. I could enter an alaming date at 18:00 on my laptop and at 18:00, when I was accidently working on the desktop (and the laptop is off) the alarm would go on on the desktop. (Of course, there must have been a time, when both computers were on, else there would have been no possibility to synchronize...)
