Mary Wilson All of what you listed sounds really good but I have a question. Does this have a timer (like a egg timer) when a certain amount of time has gone by a alarm will sound?

Many thanks for your question.

I guess the direct answer is no, it does not have a timer.
You would have to calculate the alarm time yourself.

For example. if the current time is 7:00am and you wanted the the alarm to go off in 3 minutes, then you would need to enter the alarm time as 7:03am.

Having said all that, upgrades are free for at least 2 years (in reality I have never charged for updates though) and it would certainly be possible to do what you are asking in a future release.

Richard Shamblin I've used Kirby Alarm for more than 4 years. What it can't do on its own, one can program an external app to run on schedule. It is money well spent.

Dom F Doesn't seem to work with Vista. I tried two test popups and got a "not responding" message above the window both times. Had to kill the program.

Very strange, as many people use KA on Vista.

Have you tried installing Kirby Alarm to the root of c: (ie c:\Kirby Alarm Pro) rather than the default folder (c:\Program Files\Kirby Alarm Pro)?

Rest assured we cannot get it working then I will happily refund your money.
