Latency Optimizer

James Evans Seems like the problems experienced back in Feb & Apr with downloads is still reoccuring. I clicked on the Download Trial above and was linked to Badosoft's website. The only two choices were to download the full version for $29.99 or the free version which has only 4 of the 9 features enabled. There was no provision for a BDJ trial. So the full version does not appear to be available for trial, and the free version is always available..

Is the software licensed to user or per computer. If i want to install on say 3 pcs or laptops of mine, then do i have to purchase new 2-3 licenses for each ?

The application you mentioned is not comparable with Latency Optimizer in any point! This is almost a totaly different Software.

We use a completely different technology and go much deeper in the system internals to assure a reduction of high latency!

A typical Internet accelerator offers a couple of tweaks, Latency Optimizer is a whole suite of optimization tools, testing tools and cleaning tools. There is no comparable product available at the market!

I had already done my homework by viewing the online Demo, the information on your website, and the online documentation as you suggest above

However, my point is quite simple. I and other users view BDJ as a reliable source to trial software prior to purchase at a discount, and we regulary and frequently do make the purchase. Badosoft does not appear to offer their full 9 feature version for trial prior to purchase, they only offer a trial version with less than half the features enabled. The only choices offered are to trial a 4 feature version or buy the 9 feature version. Correct me if that is not the case.

What I have seen of your product is good. I expect that I would buy your full version product if it could be trialed prior to purchase like other software offered by BDJ

Avi S I just want to know what they are, in order to know whether the product is worth buying. I think that would be important information for all power users on the forum. Power users don't simply buy products that say "lots of tweaks available"; they want to know what those tweaks are. If I know that your program will perform three important tweaks, each with a single click, it will be well worth the money. But if you just tell us "45 tweaks", without specifying what they are, then we have no idea what the program is capable of doing in the first place!

This is what the 3 predefined modes are doing. They are applying more than 15 Tweaks & Tunes per mode. They are working on System settings, Internet connection settings, registry settings, processes and protocols.

The advanced settings making 45 Tweaks & Tunes available and let you work customized on System Internals. Every Tweak or Tune is documented on the right side of the UI. You can see the concept very well at the screenshot.

We do not provide those Tweaks & Tunes in the free version and we cannot give a FULL preview of those, as once you would study them you could (if you have the knowledge) apply them yourself and there would be no need to BUY our Software what toke more than 2 years to develop. Only the 45 Tweaks and Tunes needed more than 150 days to make them work as there are 45 high 25 solutions to combine them to get the wished effect!

Jann Martin Ok, so I purchased this, printed my receipt, then lost the internet page and need to download. My question is do I download the trial and enter my registration info, or do I download the demo and enter my registration details? I prefer not to have to do this multiple times to get it right. Jann Martin Well I paid for it, downloaded and Norton Security Suite 6 promptly deleted it. I put in an email to Badosoft and they told me how I could check every popular antivirus website and there is no problem, I sent screen shots of the error and after they submitted to Norton, the error went away and the download wasn't deleted, so I installed the program and ran it, only to get an error message from Windows indicating that Latency Optimizer 3 caused an error and must now close...Send Error Report/Don't Send. I chose to send, but even after program closes and I restart system and try it again, I can't get past that error message... Now, I can't hear back from the folks at Badosoft either. I would like a refund please! This is not working for me.

Jann Martin I had submitted an email request about two hours before I posted here -- that was what I never heard back from. Then decided to post here and submit a ticket at the same time after my email to support

badosoft.com went unanswered for several hours.

Thank goodness submitting the ticket gets immediate reply. Still working on my issue via ticket support now.

Jann Martin Still not working after all day...submitted ticket, they said "working on the problem" asked me to uninstall and resinstall, which I did, nothing changed except my system is worse off than before. I have asked for a refund and uninstalled it off my system and "no reply to refund request."

Avi S was trying to get information on the advanced Tweaks & tunes and requested to make them public available or better said he wanted to know them before buying the Software. We do not support this!

Of course you can discuss the functionality of Latency Optimizer, but getting solutions what are restricted to the FULL version users will be not made public!

Regarding your Norton issue: We did contact Symantec about this issue you reported, but there is still no answer from them. It would also surprise us that Symantec would analyses your issue and update their definition and all this in a period of 3 hours!

Anyway none of our Software products have a virus or other malware. We periodically sent test files to all major anti-virus scanner companies. SO it highly surprised us when we saw your screenshot. However you said it’s gone. We didn’t change nothing and Symantec didn’t change nothing either. So the issue was somewhere else....

Avi S @Experience - you are correct that something is wrong here! All I wanted to know was: what tweaks are available on the Advanced screen? Of course I didn't ask for them to be "publicly available", but I did want to know *what* the program will do before I consider buying it!
Indeed, if you look at the video on the site, this screen seems to have been deliberately greyed out so that one cannot see what options are available.
If they are too paranoid to provide a proper screenshot of the Advanced Settings screen, then this certainly raises a question of integrity!
In any case, there is no law against sharing screenshots of programs, so I do hope that one of the users who purchased the software will share a proper screenshot of that screen.

There is no Software existing where not the one or the other have a small issue. In 99% of situations the issue is caused at user end, otherwise we would not sell a Software product if it causes issues with "many" users :-)

I, and many other BDJ users, already have a number of "tweak" programs on our systems. How are we to know whether your program provides something more than what our current tweakers already do, if you won't tell us what tweaks it has? As an example: perhaps one of your tweaks is to set the system to not clear the pagefile upon shutdown. And perhaps another tweak is to disable autorun. If so, these are common and well-known tweaks, and to buy a program for these would be silly - we can do them directly in the registry, or with Microsoft's free gpedit tool. On the other hand, perhaps your program provides other interesting tweaks that are not so easy to implement. If so, it would certainly be worth the money. But we have no way of knowing whether your program just performs the same old well-known tweaks or not, because you won't let us see what tweaks the program offers!
Regarding the screenshot - do you really intend to prevent users from sharing screenshots of the software with other potential users? Do you have a clause in the license agreement prohibiting this?

I don’t know to what Software applications you refer, but the Tweaks and Tunes we talk about are used to reduce high latency by online games and online applications.

There is no other Software application out there what does have this 45 Tweaks and Tunes!

If you feel like finding them out yourself and apply them via the registry, or with Microsoft's free gpedit tool, feel free to do so. But we will not make them public available!

As already told to you, if you feel not comfortable with the Website information, videos, screenshots, online documentation, reviews and the DEMO version we are not going to force you to buy our Software.

Avi S I was not able to find the Online Documentation on the site. I looked on the site, but all I saw was a general FAQ, and I was not able to find any PDF for downloading, nor did I see any sort of organized Table of Contents of help topics guiding one through the program.
Since you've already mentioned the Online Documentation a few times, please do share a link here so that BDJ users will be able to easily find it.

I’m wondering why you exist on making them public, there are other Tools what are also not included in the Demo version.... you didn’t mention to make them public....

Or do we need to tell you now, how we do measure latency with the Latency Test included in Latency Optimizer, per example....???

Avi S Please let our visitors and customers decide who is wasting who's time. I believe I speak for most of BDJ users when I ask for clarifications regarding functionality and regarding the online documentation.
Now, to the issue: I did go to the link you specified, as previously noted, but I did not find *anything* that could reasonably be called "online documentation". I am looking for a proper CHM file (or online equivalent), with a table of contents and index, providing full documentation for the program. An online helpdesk is not the same thing as online documentation. It is possible that you do have online documentation but I just missed it; but if so, would you please share the full link of the online documentation?

Jann Martin I never said it was a virus, you said that. The screenshot I sent said that Symantec REMOVED the download file. The details underneath were that the file is virtually unknown in the community and as such, it had a Reputation.WS1 rating, which covers all spectrums of issues without naming it as a virus, malware, adware, trojan...It just means Norton doesn't trust the file. I had an option to TRUST NOW after I looked at the link that you sent, so I clicked Trust Now after which it became User Trusted and Norton Trusted and I was able to download it again without Norton deleting it. I am beginning to think that Trusting Now was a bad idea since my system now has multiple problems including Blue Screen of Death.

The issues you describing are technically not possible to be caused by Latency Optimizer.

Obviously you have issues with your Computer. Does your Computer even meet the System Requirements?

We did refund your order but not because of the issues you are describing.

The blue screen is probably a driver or System Memory error but not caused by Latency Optimizer. Probably you are low on System Memory before starting the application...

If you wish we can make a remote control to your Computer to assist you with your issues and see with own eyes about the problems you describing. We have more than 500.000 user of our Software products and we know very well what issues can happen and what not!

As we have refunded the order please uninstall and delete all files connected with Latency Optimizer!

Jann Martin Thank you for issuing the refund in a timely manner. I have already uninstalled the program and deleted the directories from the computer, including the installation file. The computer that I had it installed on was an XPSP3 system, with 250GB HDD, 2.0GB RAM, 2.5 Intel core duo processor with an Intel GME graphics card. I have 149GB FREE of HDD. No need to port into my system as the program is gone and I have no intention of reinstalling. Thank you for your offer of assistance.
