Hallo,
following question:
- is it possible to create own submenus / subfolders (not only seperating lines)?
e.g. Main-Folder "graphic apps" - Subfolder "Graphic Editors" , "Graphic Viewers" containing additional subfolders like "photo" , "illustration",...?
If not until now - will it be available within the nearer future?

Thomas Schulz The trial is fully functional so yes.

And adding menu subfolders is easy: When adding items simply choose "menu folder".

Mitchell User I installed 2.3.3, which is full-featured for about 29 more days. I created a menu folder and copied two program shortcuts to the folder. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to use the pro feature of one-click launch of multiple programs. Read through the online help twice. Nothing. Went to the forum. Nothing I could find. I really want to pay the niine bucks for the pro version, but I don't know how to use the only pro feature in which I am interested.

Thomas Schulz 1) go to "Manage items"

2) In "Add item" choose "Menu folder" and add it

3) in this folder add some executables

4) In the "Edit item (Pro edition only) see the "Folder" option... Here you can choose between different modes, e.g. "RunWaitAll"

5) So when you want to execute them all in the future, simply right click Launcher icon in system tray and click the folder you added in #2

Duane User I've never seen a program so shy to show you what the user sees.

It has a lot of information about how to set it up, but not how it looks on your computer.

I'm referring to information on Bits and on their website.

Currently the help

have a "Getting started" at the very top where the two first entries are:

1) Use Launcher from Windows System Tray https://www.microsystools...stem-tray/

2) Add File and Directory Shortcuts in Launcher https://www.microsystools...shortcuts/

And both show how it looks on the computer. The BDJ and website screenshots do as well.

(Are you experiencing an issue where things look very different?)

Thomas Schulz Thank you. I think I understand your definition now. In that case:

The screenshots that show the menu that pops up when clicking the "Launcher" icon in the system tray all demonstrates usage to some or full degree.

You simply *click* the menu items that corresponds to the items added/edited/arranged in the "Manage items" window.

- In Launcher shortcut configuration it is called: Work dir"
- When configuring Windows shortcuts (in Windows) it is called "Start in"

From Windows API it corresponds to "lpDirectory":

Some apps use this to know wherefrom it should read files.

HJ B 1. I think it would be helpful if Launcher had a function that would import all of the Windows Start Menu items and another that would import all of the Taskbar items to Launcher. Anything imported not wanted is then easily removed from Launcher,

2. The Launcher menu items can be rearranged on an item item basis, simply by dragging the item to a different point on the menu or by using the up and down functions. It would be helpful if Launcher also had a function that would alphabetize the menu.

3. Does Launcher include the ability to launch short cut pastes that have been created in KeyManager?

(Personally I appreciate menus that Windows does not mess with. But importing menus from Windows may be a good idea.)

jay User Feature I have not seen on ANY launcher: ability to attach searchable notes and tags/keywords to a program. When I install program Alpha, I should have ability to add tag X & Y, and notes that include "can do XX which is good for YY, and here is the URL, etc". Then a year later when I am looking for a program that is good for YY a search will bring it up, allowing me to launch it.

1a. As to my item 1, I have figured out how to copy over all of the links that are in the Windows 11 start menu. Open the start menu, and right click on one of the menu items. That will bring you to a folder of links for all of the start menu item. Highlight all of those links, and with one drag, all of those links are brought over into Launcher..

1b. A similar move can transfer the taskbar links to Launcher.. The Launcher link file in Windows 11 is at C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

Once all of that is moved, the user can delete from Launcher any items not wanted to appear on the Launcher menu.

2.As regards my second point, I am suggesting that there be a button, within Launcher, that alphabetizes the Launcher menu. For me, at least, an alphabetized list makes it easier for me to find what I am looking for.

3. On of the things I particularly like about Launcher is that any document file (.eg. Word, Excel, Text, etc can be created, saved and then have a link inserted on Launcher. For example, if you can create a ToDo list form or a time and billing form, or a phone list and quickly summon the form up from the Launcher menu..
