Jo Ann Rice This doesn't say if it's a price for "just" the software or if this is a price for the 1 year subscription or what exactly is this price including other than the software itself?

Jo Ann Rice Yeah I saw that it "matches up" to that price, but it doesn't say that this special is for that 1 year plan which it probably should if that's what it is? It's definitely something I'll consider buying if that is clarified on the special, thanks for checking :)

disenchanted Upon further perusing, I noticed that under the BDJ
"POLICY" tab for this vendor, it does mention the following statement:

-----quote-----------------

"After you make a purchase of this BitsDuJour discount promotion, Learn iT! Anytime may be used for 12 months".

Learn iT! Anytime is licensed per user, so if more people are going to use Learn iT! Anytime you will need to purchase additional copies.

Each license allows installation on all owned computers, but Learn iT! Anytime may not be used at exactly the same time on each of them.
----unquote---------------

$39/year for a fair amount of training choices, so I'm in.

Jo Ann Rice That's pretty strange Roberto, mine went through without any issues or problems at all. Check the address, and check to make sure you typed your name in exactly as it is on the card also. My card company for some reason added my middle name on it so now I have to type that in also whenever I use it online. Make sure it's all exactly as it is for the card account.

Jason Hecker Roberto -- I'm with Learn iT! Anytime. Not sure what the issue is with your credit card, but reach out to me via the "Contact Us" tab http://www.learnitanytime...ontact-us/ and I'll make sure we take care of you on Monday morning (Pacific Coast Time, US).

For others -- the course list is here http://www.learnitanytime.com/courses/ -- we have awesome videos for the most popular Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Outlook, OneNote, Lync, SharePoint, and Project) as well as some great web and graphic design courses (CSS, Dreamweaver, HTML, Illustrator, PhotoShop, and WordPress). We even have QuickBooks and iPad training.

Videos are streaming -- not downloadable. The $39 gives you a one-year subscription to the website.

Hope that helps! -- Jason

gail f Curious how long the videos are in general? Just looked at Quickbooks series but don't see how long for each? This is key; need to know if these are overviews, or too in-depth! Thanks
Aug 26 2012 at 1:42pm Copy Link

Jason Hecker Hi Gail -- To answer your question, the videos are fairly in-depth. Each series is based on our "live" courses at our training facility, and are broken up into four hour modules. Each module is then broken down into a series of shorter (8-12 minute) segments. This allows the student to skip over or review certain segments without having to navigate through the entire module.

Our QuickBooks training is based on four modules, or 16 hours of live training. The topics covered in each module are listed here: http://www.learnitanytime...ick-books/

Hope that helps! -- Jason

Paul Miller Hmm. Jumped on this, slowly. Studied, researched the site. Their "Cool Stuff" hooked me. Links to sites that I would not have normally found, that were astounding. Hopefully Learn iT! Anytime will be as awesome. Been using Adobe products since Photoshop 1.0 and Illustrator 88, but with software changing so much, sometimes hard to keep up on new features, while old school methods get yanked out of the software.

On their monthly plan, it comes out to around $300. Same access for a year for $39, I'll take that gamble, even tho' the world's supposed to end near the conclusion of 2012. (heh, heh)

Amit Is there anything for non-developers non-webdesigners. learning all these courses is not requirement if ? Anything for general businesses - not about webdesigning or microsoft etc. but something else. ? Most businesses would not themselves try to learn these languages + have no intrest in microsoft tutorials.

And how much time does it take for a starter to learn say i would take example of photoshop or similar tool ?

Jason Hecker @Paul -- Glad you liked our "cool stuff". Hopefully you enjoy the paid content even more -- assuming we all make it to 2013 :)

@Amit -- here's our full course list http://www.learnitanytime.com/courses/ -- I'm sure there's some content there that would be beneficial to you or your team.

As far as how much time does it take it to learn a new program -- it all depends on what you need to use the program for. Our Photoshop videos will have you up and running in a few hours, but like anything else, the more your practice, the better you will get. The good news is that we have tutorials that will hold your hand all along the way -- even through some expert techniques of the application. http://www.learnitanytime...photoshop/

Orville H My Learn iT! account was activated a little while ago. I've gone through two of the video lessons. This is a good alternative to lynda.com and this price makes it significantly less expensive.

The videos I have watched were short, but they were thorough. You can easily pause the video. The courseware manuals appear to be well produced.

Jason Hecker Jace and Todd -- it may be your credit card. We confirmed earlier that non-US credit cards were able to be accepted -- however we have since discovered that some foreign credit cards were not approving the transaction. I would suggest contacting your credit card company to see if this is the case, or feel free to email me directly at jason.heckerlearnit.com if you would prefer to pay via PayPal. Thanks!

Todd New Well, I no sooner made my snarky comment than my credit card finally went through -- but please note, there was an error message in prior attempts saying that my credit card was denied. However, the credit card company told me that there was no actual attempt at verification or sending a transaction through - nothing appeared on my account. The error appears to be on your site.

That being said, when I do get my email (with the account information), I will be jumping on this opportunity - thank you! (w/apologies for a tad too much cynicism on my part)...

Jace Wolff I finally got this to go through last night. I just thought you might like to know it was not my credit card. My card is a US card and like Todd when I contacted the cc company they pointed out there was no attempt for authorization. Worked out well for me, but if someone was less determined they wouldn't have gotten this deal.

Roberto I bought a suscription last year, and I see about the suscription renewal will take effect automaticaly.

In your website there is a button to cancel the automatic renewal, but while pressing it does not give any feedback to the user (i dont know if it works or not, because no message is displayed).

How we can know about this? (I like your courses, but I dont like "auto renewals")

Chris Roy Jackson @ gail f
In "the Fine Print":
"This promotion cannot be used to upgrade or extend an existing license."
I assume that to mean what it says... I think you could purchase today (you MAY need to use a different email address to be successful in this!) and then you would have two concurrent subscriptions until the (First) subscription expires. NOTE: Be sure to cancel the "Auto-Renew" (if there is one)!!!

I hope that helps!

Tomas Barth After having been cheated by a membership site with automatic renewal, I will never make that mistake again. I had to block my card after it turned out that they had made it impossible to cancel. Cost me $300 for another year I didn´t want. The only automatic renewals I accept is through Paypal, because there I can control it. So, this is no product for me, no matter how good it is.

when deciding to buy todays offer, does one have to do anything in case one would not like to continue subscription after1 year?
Or is it guranteed that the membership automatically will end after 1 year without having to do anything (sorry, but no native english speaker and a little confused reading the above comments).
thank you for clarifying

K X Hi Jason,

I was trying to log in tonight & having some issues. Couldn't login with the original password I was sent, soI tried to have a password sent to me. A window popped up and it was asking for username (ok) but also for a password (?) in order to send me my password.

So I decided to try the contact us page and when I typed out my comment and hit send, I got another "authenttcation" popup asking for my username and password again.

That's why I'm leaving a comment here, because a copy of this should be emailed to you.

Thanks in advance.

Craig S. I'm having exactly the same issues at K X. I continually get login prompts (separate window, generated by the browser), asking for a username and password. The prompt has the following text (not including the brackets): [A username and password are being requested by http://dev.learnitanytime.com. The site says: "Learnitanytime Dev"] These dialog boxes pop up on every page I visit, even though your actual web site acknowledges me as logged in (I can visit my account page, etc.). I've tried with Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome, and I'm getting the same results with all browsers.
