What are people saying about LinkHelp

soo mi While this app may have value for a heavy LinkedIn user, or one who is searching for a new job via LinkedIn, it is rather interesting that NOWHERE on their site can you find a price of $2999 listed FOR ANY VERSION of their product. What you will find is a "free" offering, for$0/month, a "lite" version for $9/month, a "pro" version for $39/month, and a "biz" version e69/month. But, as I noted, you will not find ANY version for $2999!!! This sounds like one of the sleazy offers that you often see on the StackSocial website, where you are offered a $400,000 piece of software for an amazing 6000% discount, at a very "special," one-time only price of $3.95. While I am always happy to see new vendors offering their products and services on BDJ, I am not impressed by what seems to be a sleazy, fake price with a trumped up discount. Perhaps the vendor can explain where I am wrong in my perception of their offering.

Constantin Florea @soo mi, As you have correctly stated, the product website only sells subscription based licenses since it only lists per month prices.

During this BitsDuJour promotion, we're actually selling the Lifetime license which is not sold on the product website.

soo mi This is an edited re-post, since I couldn't properly edit my original comment on my phone:

Meanwhile, another discount site is offering a 2-year license for the"pro" version for $99 (do you even know if you will still be a "heavy" user of LinkedIn in two years?). This sounds very much like one of the sleazy offers that you often see on the StackSocial website, where you are offered a $400,000 piece of software for an amazing 6,000% discount, at a very "special, one-time only" price of $3.95. Egon User As some of you will probably know, some time ago - in fact over 10 years ago -, there have been lots of web scraping tools around, but times have changed since, almost any site where it would be of interest to scrape info from, on a regular basis, in the meanwhile having installed means to fight scraping.

Thus, with a software like LinkHelp, fearing similar problems to arise, all the more so since LinkedIn having been MS now for some time, and which implies they get almost all the necessary code they want to fight unwanted user behavior, I've searched a little bit, and so I found, https://www.saashub.com/c...inkhelp-io - quite instructive indeed, and thus I'll pass. ;-)

Constantin Florea @soo mi, Indeed the regular prices are determined by the vendor and the discount percent (minimum 40% based on the regular price for this type of deals) is determined by us, by BitsDuJour.

Related to the regular price level: in this case it was the vendor who selected the regular price of $2,999 but some vendors do ask us about which regular price to use in cases like this (when they only offer subscription based licenses on their site) and we always advise on using a multiple of either 5 or 10 years. So if we would consider the 5 year multiple then for a Lifetime license would be 5 x 29 x 12 = $1,740 and if we would consider a 9 year multiple then that would be 9 x 29 x 12 = $3,132 and the regular price in this case $2,999 is well between these levels.
