Doris Ballard I wish the people who make you fill out "work details" would add the "OTHER" category, and perhaps a place to "fill in the blanks" for the details. The job titles/descriptions they list are very narrow, and a person has to be somewhat creative to answer them all. They've left out an awful lot of possibilities.

Loyal Customer I will not fill out the trade pub form. I don't trust trade pub. I already receive enough spam mail. No need for more.
Thanks for the offer, but I must decline.

Reussite User I don't like to give all these informations, I'm not looking for a job!!!
More than my name and email, I don't agree.
So, they can keep their giveaway, I don't want it.

Mike Montes OK, I downloaded the software but there is no .exe, .zip, or any extension; just this "J2XGD9SD". How do I get it to work? I get a message about which program do I want to run this with and haven't a clue! This is the second time this year that something like this has happened. So, what do I do?

Jae Dykes Okay, I dislike everything about this software provider - their lack of answers to our questions here on this forum, the ambiguous manner in which we have to download the darn thing, all the extra personal information requested, the lack of instructions. Click on the "Get Giveaway License" link in the pdf doc you download. On their webpage, it's the first program (Giveaway Version) - underneath the big green button that says "Get license code", there's a link that says "Click here to free download Windows Version" - I didn't see it either. You get an actual zip file with an executable file and text file with the license number. You're welcome, you can tip me later.

Koen Andries Just mentioning that the download worked out great for me : I downloaded a zip file containing the installation file, and the license information.

Folks, why so many criticism when you get a program valued at 60 $ for free ?

Not everything on the internet is unsafe and suspicious ; don't be too paranoid.

A happy customer

A S This Windows Giveaway version is for 5.9.9, Build May 31, 2017 from the TradePub website. I got a .pdf with a link to download the Windows software version from MacXDVD.com The GUI is identical to WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe 5.9.8 (another BitsduJour giveaway) from March 2017, just fyi.

I have used (and prefer) the WinX version several times. Not sure what the diff is between 5.9.8 and 5.9.9 other than the name/provider/company name change and if I would even need the "added" features/support, if any.

Hope that helps.

Mike Montes Jae, I tried what you recommended but cannot access the "Get Giveaway License" link. It keeps taking me back to the Trade Pub page and there's no link there. I can't even see the Big Green Button that says "Get license code". Maybe my security settings are preventing this. I'll try changing them and you're absolutely right...a lot of hoops to jump through! And no help from TradePub. Oh, well.

Ernest Kent just installed it and now i'm uninstalling it. the code don't work. Thanks anyways

Robert Crombie A S is correct. It is version 5.9.9
I too have the WinX 5.9.8
They (Digiarty) may not be being tricky, Perhaps because this version is now suitable for both Mac and Win, they have a name change.
One thing to look out for - Whilst I was ferreting around to get the link, I downloaded two installers. One is a smaller size, and is not HD.
Make sure you download the larger (46 MB) called "macx-hd-video-converter-giveaway-tp.zip"

Mike Montes So, is ANYONE from BitsDujour or TradePub going to assist me in getting a Windows License? I've been waiting since Thursday, the 20 for a response and here we are the 22nd. I appreciate the help from Jae Dykes, the ONLY ONE WHO OFFERED HELP, but why can't I get any help? And, yes, I did email TradePub Thursday and all I get from them are numbers and letters...no extensions. What's going on here?

Constantin Florea @Mike Montes, Please email us at notify@bitsdujour.com describing the issue in detail. Since we do not own the product, we will forward your email to TradePub asking for help.
