Ralph Bressler What does "You can enhance only 200 photos with Light version." mean? Over what period of time? Ever or just in one session? I too got the Norton message! I don't know your company so the "Don't worry!" has me worried!

Free Ride You can enhance 200 photos, there is no timeframe for it, when you exceed 200 photos, the software renders the registration pair invalid and asks for a new registration pair (name, serial) in order to continue using the program. If you enhance 201 photos in 5 minutes, you can already uninstall.

I understand your concern. If you dont trust us - check http://www.bitsdujour.com...virus-scan There also two "suspicious", but in a case or real dangerous - most of the antivirus from the list - detect the problem.

Ralph Bressler So, with the 200 photo limitation this "free" offer is really only a trial edition. I am surprised that BDJ would even offer a crippled program like this! Thanks to BDJ for all the good deals you offer but this is not one of them. I will pass.

john lee the software sucks. cons no thumbnail in opening files. the magic output is not good. not worthy.

Software Babe Here is what I get from Norton 360 about downloading this software:

Norton 360 is really accurate in its assessments on viruses and worms.
And, it remove this software when I tried to download it.

In other words, this software was "intentionally mutated or morphed by attackers." probably AFTER the author placed it on the server (it was taken and changed.)

THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS SOFTWARE.
HAVE THE AUTHOR PLACE IT ELSEWHERE IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM (EXE) AND PROVIDE ANOTHER LINK FOR US.

Free Ride @john lee Have you even tried the software and compared input/output? Of course there is a comparison preview window and a preview for each original file that has been loaded from a folder or as single file, regarding output quality, it is the same but (that's what i call it) grey fog removed that can be found in e.g. ingame screenshots, the pictures have a more clear and clean look. The quality isn't an issue here, the only issue is the file processing limit.

Dc Paul It reduces the quality of the picture significantly... Many free versions do better job without loosing the quality.

Rudi Steberl Hello,

1) I installed your 200 use magic enhancer and the serial number conflicts with an older exististing graphic plugin called "imageskill magic enhancer". The serial number of this plugin was overwritten from your software.
2) I couldn't load some jpeg files, because the software crashed with an error and I had to start it again. (The jpeg files are okay).
3) I got some other undefined errors.
4) Is there a preview function where I can see the picture before adding it to the batch list ? (Perhaps I didn't saw it)

Perhaps it's only on my computer, but if these problems occur on other systems, you should test the software on several computer systems and eliminate these bugs.

If I understand your comment correctly, I assume that you would NOT have offered this program as your "free deal of the day" if you had realized that it wasn't a LITE version but instead an extremely limited TRIAL instead. 200 uses? LOL- it could be a very short trial!

Anyhow, I want to thank you and also give you a great big thumbs up for the explanation and the apology. I must admit when I saw the promo, I was a little worried that your quality-control might be slipping a bit, he he he... A 200-photo limit is just ridiculous IMHO and it certainly isn't up to BDJ "deal" standards :-) If it was a program "for sale at a discount" with the limited trial for free, that might be different. This "trial" might even fly at some of those "other" sites [no names,] but BDJ has always been a class above those standards.

I'm glad to see that hasn't changed -- anyone can make a mistake, and that is easily forgiven :) Lowering your standards -- that wouldn't have been so easy to forgive ;) So, thanks for all the wonderful software deals you do offer -- and please keep BDJ in its higher-class; I know there are many others that feel as I do, and that also truly appreciate what you do every day!
