Mike G I'm always annoyed by the fact that my browser can't remember where files from sites I've downloaded from before were stored the last time. Streaming audio from my favorite programs go in their associated folders, Microsoft downloads go in their folders, etc. I have to navigate to the correct download folder every time. If I drag and drop a file, can mass downloader remember where I store downloads from that site and automatically put it there?

Alexander Bednyakov Yes, you can use it's Categories feature to setup special "category" with the corresponding disk path. When Mass Downloader will see that new adding link belongs to that category it will select the specified path automatically. Download Mass Downloader to try it free to ensure this works for you the way you want.

Stefan Hauber I downloaded your product and played a little with it, but am not so sure, I can do the following with your product:

Supposing I have a web-adress containing some links to other web-adresses, which have links to adresses with interesting pictures. Can I let MassDownloader let download all these pics? (In this example all the pix of interest would be two levels away from the startup-address).

And if this can be done, can the resulting pics being named with kind of increasing indices? So e.g. can I let the very first picture of the first link get the name 1_1_original-name.jpg, the second of the first link 1_2_.on.jpg, the first of the second link 2_1_on.jpg, etc.. (on stands here for the original-name; so if the original-name of the very first picture would be a.jpg, the created resulting pic-name should be 1_1_a.jpg).

(Of course in the ideal case all these parameters about 'from where to download' (i.e. level-depth and file-type) could be configured. And same about the output-destination...)

If not, can I from outside, i.e. from e.g. within another program, let MassDownloader download a certain file and store it under a given filename. So e.g. are the command-line-parameters like 'massdown web-source-file local-dest-file' which would add the command 'load a source-file web-source-file from the web and save it on the local disk as file local-dest-file? And MassDownloader would download each of these files (file after file in it's preset speed). (I saw you support command-lines, but did not see any way to say 'save it as file xyz)).

If (again) not, do you have in mind to add something like that in a next update?

Thank you...
