Jim Buchanan @Peter Anon - Well, it does seem to be a bit much at first. However, I took the tiime to do it for the first eBook I acquired and what a surprise when I went for the second one. A message came up something like this - (I'm paraphrasing)

Hi Jim . You're back. Good to see you. Press download to receive your link.

I pressed the download.
They sent the link.
I downloaded the eBook.
Simple and fast. Really made up for the first time. However it works only if you give your 'work' email. And you have to use that email everytime. I suppose they are collecting for a data base but then what company isn't these days.
