- “I recommend this course, i use excell a lot but thanks to Guy i've learned a lot of useful tips. You can view the entire course in 2-3 days.”- Thierry
- “I have been very impressed by this course. The material is well organized and thorough. The instructor speaks clearly and is knowledgeable. He does a quick review of the newly covered concepts at the end of each tutorial. He has a subtle yet witty sense of humour that I certainly appreciate. Kudos to anyone who can make Excel interesting!”- Carie Turner
- “This is a great beginners course on Excel. Each lesson covers just a few basic principles and it's easy to go at your own pace. The one thing that is missing is that at the end of each section, there should be a downloadable Excercise/Homework sheet. I took a similar course that had an Excel Workbook you downloaded at the end of each major section and it had 4-5 assignments to do with the various sheets in the workbook that utilized the skills learned in that section. (The last sheet of the workbook contained "answers" that explained step by step what to do if you couldn't figure it out.) Just watching these lessons and following along is okay, but the real way you learn something is by doing it on your own. This class lacks that important element to really solidify the information.”- Eric Wrye
- “Comprehensive course, lots of XL basic/intermediate functions, charting and features, including Sky Drive file management. If you have trouble with a Liverpudlian accent, it may take some getting used to. All lessons are brief and feature closing recaps, so don't panic. Spread over 2-3 days, this course is doable and you can practice what you have learned on accompanying file set. Spreadsheets displayed are small on average laptop screen, so you have to keep clicking to increase to full screen size after each lesson ends....720p is not default HD display range (must reset for each session), which is a bit lame. This course could have used an update to feature SharePoint interfaces, but these lectures were produced in 2010. This course will get you rolling and ready for advanced Excel course, which is the point, of course.”- Thomas Calloway
- “Course quickly and clearly covers a lot of features. It helped transition me from Excel 2003. Although I use Excel extensively, I still learned new functions and better ways to accomplish tasks.”- C Flower
