HJ B @Valary

Thank you for your response, which does not respond to all of my points.

1. The Fine Print, on the BDJ listing for this program, says:
Each license allows installation on 1 computer. and
No Return Policy.

2. What software is installed on the network and cloud workstations, if the license only allows installation on 1 computer?

3. Does the program permit creation of categories, such as "Client A", "Client B", etc., so that all documents relating to a particular client will be linked to that category?

Valery HJ B,
I was in hurry to answer before the end of the promotion. I missed something. That's why I asked you to email me.
1-2) The promotion was held for ModusDoc Standard. Additionally, for other versions on similar terms (1 removable media, 1 cloud storage, 3 workstations).
3) Documents are linked to specific client. Group Clients - empty or documents without reference to A, B, ... Subgroup A - documents. If necessary, the document is linked to multiple clients (Copy (Copy link) - Insert) .
If you need to display all documents of group for all clients (A, B, ...), then you first assign code with the group (clients) identifier to the documents. In the future, disable the binding to groups and set the filter by ID.

JW I purchased the Portable version of this program (through BDJ) on 15th Jan 2022 which (for some reason) appears to have downloaded version 6.8.
Can I simply download the version 7.4.335 from your website and use that with the Registration information supplied previously (through BDJ, in Jan)?
I tried to download the Trial version (from here!) but that won't install onto my USB portable thumb drive, insisting that I don't have authority to write to my C:\ drive!! [I didn't want to install it there anyway, but I'm not being given a real choice, even though I've created the folder on my USB drive (G:\ ModusDoc).

Valery JW, You can install 7.4.335.
You need to run the file ModusDocPortable_en.exe
In the third step, specify the USB drive.
The ModusDoc7.4 folder will be created on the specified drive and the program will be installed there.
