I've scoured the Magix website and I'm either blind or just can't see - I cannot find it/them.

Adam Bryan You are offered a £30 coupon, that is to be used one time at checkout, to spend on 'sounds, loops, and sound-pools' in the store which range from £4.99 to £24.99.

However, the coupon does not give your account credit nor does the store have a basket to put multiple items in, so you can only buy one at any one time which means you can never use the full amount of the coupon.

What is the point in that?

Judi Podgurski I have been trying to get my 'purchase', and keep getting an error message, and have not been able to complete the process. I'm trying to get the Celtic Harp instrument. I have found no place to register the product, and do not know how to overcome the error message in trying to use my coupon. Help please.

Joe User install went fine in Win7 pro. The discount coupon bought me one soundpool thing, I chose Grand Piano even tho the preview was the same as concert guitar. That needs to be fixed. Then after I installed it, lengthy process, I discovered that Concert Grand LE is included. Might have selected something else had I known. The song that loads by default sounds fine but even after install and add the grand piano to the default song to hear what it sounds like, it is distorted as are the other sound pools that apparently come with this version. Dont know what that's about yet. Maybe a setting I need to adjust? This looks like a fairly complicated program, and my experience with such things is a few wacks at Sound Forge Acid V1. That was a while back!

Judi Podgurski From what I can figure out, this software is a free giveaway on the software website, and does not need to be registered to work. There is a coupon code in the info that BitsDuJour mailed to you, after your download and install. The trick it seems, is to get the "store" to work, so we can use that coupon on new sounds. There seems to be no registration necessary, for the program to function. Hope that helps.

barb User I am pretty disappointed. I wanted to take advantage of the bdjr coupon and install saxophonia. Everything seemed to be going fine, as the coupon was redeemed without a hitch, the download and installation of saxophonia was "successful" , yet the saxophonia instrument isn't showing in MY Instruments, and on top of it, it has now disappeared from the "Expand your collection" list.

Any solution to this problem?

Constantin Florea @Bryan Darby, Since the installer is the free installer from the product site, you don't need a registration code.

The coupon code is mentioned in the receipt email in the Instruction section.

Judi Podgurski Sadly, I have uninstalled this software. No one ever replied to my messages, about only getting an error message, when I tried to use my coupon to get a new instrument. Too bad. It sounded like something that would be great fun to use. From the comments, I guess I was not the only one who had problems of one sort or another. Maybe it is new, and still has issues to be worked out. Wishing Magix good luck in the future.

Bryan Darby Thank you.
I looked at the confirmation letter and found the coupon code but there is no Activation Key although the program appears to be registered to me.
I did have a previous version. Is that key still valid?
Also, I cannot find 'Accordion' among the installed instruments and cannot contact the Store to purchase. When I go to 'Help' > 'Log in to Store', nothing happens.
Your advice, please.

ron r If you use the free Magix Music Maker software with royaltee free sounds, loops and samples attained from outside the Magix Music Maker store.
Is it then allowed to use the created music commercially?

Just to be clear:
1. You use the Magix Music Maker FREE version
2. You do NOT use any of Magix Music Makers sound assets and not any of the sound assets from the Magix Music Maker store

If you comply to the above 2 mentioned points, can you use the finally created product commercially?

Retired Engineer Sorry to display my ignorance of the soundtrack profession, but I've read that Mark Snow's music for Blue Bloods is not played by an orchestra. Instead, he uses sampled sound synthesizers for almost all the instruments in a symphony orchestra. Does Mark use Magix professionally? Where does he (and where can I) access sounds from all the instruments in a symphony orchestra?
