HJ B As I understand it, this program permits the construction of applications that can be triggered by the CD/DVD auto-play function of Windows.

1. Will it also autoplay if installed on a USB plug drive?

2. Can it simply be used as a stand-alone, interactive application that runs off a hard drive?

3. Can it run as an application imbedded in a website?

4. Can it be used to create a tutorial?

5. If I want someone to read a dozen documents in a certain sequence, can I have a series of buttons, one for each document - and different document types - pdf - word - excel - ppt - html, and will the focus return to the application window when the end point in the document is reached OR can it be made to jump from one document directly to the next when the end point of the first document is reached?

6. I see it has a number of templates. Is there a discription somewhere of what each template does and how it is best setup?

regarding your first question, if your operating system was updated via Windows Update after February 2011, then you won't be able to use AutoPlay on a USB drive, unless you manually turn the feature back on, for example with the MS Fix It 50475 (found in KB 967715). Microsoft made this change in an important security update, and disabled AutoPlay for all devices other than CD/DVD drives. So the correct answer here is "no, this product is not expected to run from a USB device, unless you reverted the changes done to your computer done by Microsoft, or your OS is not fully updated." This is not totally true, the last time I upgraded my business edition, I had to pay close to $40 for a change they made in the program. So, its lifetime upgrades that may cost you money...

Constantin Florea The phrase "After you purchase My Autoplay Pro Business Edition - Lifetime Upgrades it may be used indefinitely." refers to the fact that the product is not a subscription product. If it would be a subscription product (for example for 12 months) then the phrase would be something like:
"After you purchase PRODUCT_NAME it may be used for 12 months and will not function after that unless you renew your subscription."

I see that the vendor sells "Pro Business Edition Free Minor Updates" and that version does require updates. The associated explanation for the Minor Updates version is:
"When you buy a copy of My Autoplay, you will get minor updates and bug fixes for free. Minor updates are updates of which the first version number has not changed. So if you buy My Autoplay 1.xx, you can upgrade to any other version 1.xx free of charge. "

However during this promotion we are selling the Lifetime version which has the following explanation attached (in the product site):
"You pay for the program only the first time and get all new versions of this program for FREE and for lifetime. "

Dippy Dawg I purchased this a few years ago and it stated "Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for the lifetime of the product". I have looked in the software for a Update button or link but can't find one. I have been to their website numerous times and all I can find is the trial version. Their website is outdated and references various versions. If you click on "Tour" on the main menu it takes you to a page that references My Autoplay 9.5 in the upper right corner. How hard is it to change the header to reflect the latest version. That is just one example of their outdated website. I have sent several emails to support

arafasoft.com and never get a reply. I even included sales

arafasoft.com in my emails, still no reply.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SOFTWARE

Website is a mess and needs to be updated
They do not reply to emails
No way to update to the latest version. You are stuck with the version you download with the original email from them.

mix624 Hi,

Is it possible to build an executable file with 300-400 mp3s ?
I would like to make an audiobook based on mp3s.

So when I send this file to others they can play the mp3s and navigate all the different audios. I need to know this before I purchase because all I see is that background music is possible ?
