What are people saying about My Digital Documents 2012 Professional

Support Welcome to our BDJ premier promotion for My Digital Documents 2012 Professional Editon.

The Professional Edition is a major upgrade to MDD Personal that allows for multi-user database access, larger file size import/export and document sharing for teams and co-workers but is also suitable for home users.

While MDD 2012 Professional uses Microsoft SQL Server (The Express Edition is FREE and Powerful and uses a maximum of 1GB Ram), you really don't need to have any technical background to use it because we've created a step-by-step tutorial (http://www.mydigitalapps....sSetup.asp) in the Support section of our website. The tutorial looks longer than it really is, because of all of the screenshots - but generally you're simply clicking on the 'Next' button on the SQL Server installer... but the screenshots make it look more involved than it really is.

So, if you're a home user - this is a substanital upgrade on many accounts to the Personal Edition... and also continues to support all of the Personal Edition features! It's really very easy to install and you should not shy away from or be intimidated by it.

If you're a small or medium size business, you may already have SQL Server installed - but if you don't - the tutorial will get you up and running in no time at all and the benefits are substantial.

Just as the Personal Edition allowed you to create as many local databases as you wanted / needed, the Professional Edition allows you to create as many SQL Server databases as you want/need. But instead of single use databases - these are multi-user document sharing databases!

If you're a previous user of MDD 2012 Personal Edition you may wonder why you might want to upgrade to the Professional Edition and there are many reasons why you should.

For example, you probably have large movies that you recorded on your Video Camera or perhaps you have a ton of photos that you shot at 16 megapixels or higher that are quite large. Using the Professional Edition you can easily store and retrieve huge files with confidence.

So what if you don't care about the multi-user capability - you need it because you have 350MB videos of family and friends... or maybe you do care about the multi-user capability - or both.

Even if you are happy with the Personal Editon, the My Digital Documents 2012 Series (Personal, Professional & Enterprise) continues to evolve - and everyone benefits from that evolution because when we incorporate a new feature that benefits all editions - all editions are upgraded with that new feature simultaneously.

We encourage you to look at the feature comparison page (http://www.mydigitalapps....arison.asp) on our website and to take notice of the fact that nearly all editions support the features that thousands have come to appreciate in the Personal Edition... the difference with the Professional Edition in addition to it's power (it's like comparing a 1.8 litre engine to a supercharged 450cc muscle car engine) is the multi-user support, the massive file size capability and the scaleability that the product provides and it's performance/speed. And it's simply going to get better as the year progresses and we add additional features. Not to mention the incredible price tag for this promotion!

Applications like this (especially the Professional Edition) are generally not available to home users, power-users or small and medium size businesses at this price!

The DataObjx Development Team is proud to present this product to you at this incredible price on BDJ and encourage you to download and install Microsoft SQL Server Express (or higher) and begin realizing the benefits of this new edition to our suite.

Support We've updated a few of the features within build 2.57 and have released build 2.58.

Customers who downloaded version 2.57 should download and install version 2.58 to get the latest features and fixes.

The website has also been updated with more information about the features contained within the Professional Edition and customers should review the Managing Databases Personal & Enterprise Editions menu options in the Support section of the website for a better understanding of the application.

Preston Mitchell Martin, SUPER KUDOS for the Impressive Improvements to MDD

MDD 2012 is vastly better than MDD 2011. What a stunning difference betwixt the two versions. Like, night and day. I almost didn't recognize MDD.

Prior to MDD 2012, I felt Ultra Recall Pro was the best 'tree-directory' database software. But, MDD 2012 clearly takes the Gold Medal now. Awesome. And my hearty congratulations!

You were wise to create different versions for 2012. (BTW, for marketing purposes, you should have named 2012 as 2013. In a few months, the name '2012' will suggest that your NEW version is last year's model. Crafting the correct perception is an important element of effective marketing...saith Coach Mickey.)

Best regards,
Preston Mitchell
