Todd User BUYER BEWARE!! I have purchased licenses to this software four times (2019. 2020, 2023, 2024). I am not able to activate the software using ANY of the licenses. Attempts to get Nevron Software to correct the issue were futile.

It appears this is an issue from 2023 related to a promotion from a reseller of MyDraw that used license keys in a format that is no longer supported by our activation server. According to our logs, the issue was resolved by the support person at that time. We want our customers to be happy with the purchase of MyDraw, and have assigned two perpetual licenses to your account free of charge. Mustang All my devices are Windows 10 and do not support a Windows 11 migration. So when a device has to be retired, that license cannot be transferred to the new machine?

This is an update to my post made 02/07/2024.
Constantin and Nevron Software: Thank you for replying to that post. I am pleased to report that YES, I was just able to activate a copy of MyDraw. I appreciate both of you taking the time to work on the issue.

Nevron Software: I will email the support email address again when time permits. My 2019 purchase was through Bitsdujour. You are correct that the 2023 purchase was through a different site, but I made a 2024 purchase through Bitsdujour which was date/timestamped 3/29/2024 6:41:00 AM. For that purchase, I used a different email address and created a second account on both Bitsdujour and Nevron's site in desperation, hoping that a "fresh start" would work, but that license would never activate either. I will email about that license when time permits.

For those considering MyDraw: In my opinion, the software is very well written and robust. I own licenses to MS Visio, but find that having MyDraw in addition to Visio provides several advantages. MyDraw has numerous shape files that are not available in Visio. Also, MyDraw can directly open Esri .shp format files, and that has been very useful to me several times (Visio cannot open .shp files). Many users will find that MyDraw's ability to open GEDCOM files useful as well.

styrobrain I appreciate Nelson Carvalho's post stating that the licensing system has changed. Yet I still read in the "THE FINE PRINT" here at BDJ that "Transfer of a license to another owned computer is allowed", while the EULA (which "THE FINE PRINT" links to) still says that "Each Perpetual license allows activation on up to 3 different machines. A machine is considered different if its hardware configuration and/or operating system changes" and "Once an activation is used, it is non-revocable". In my understanding, "transfer is allowed" and "non-revocable" are non-reconcilable. So I keep sitting on the fence.
