Colin McAllister Downloaded trial. Trail activated successfully. Set to index Documents folder in C drive. Program suggests it will index in background, so I left it running. 8 hours later, there's no index. :-(

Alexander User Thank you for reporting this. Looks like the issue is caused by one of the documents. Please restart an application, press Control+L, it will show list of indexed documents. If possible, please send copy of last document in the list to supportofficedocumentfinder.con, we will check it,.

Colin McAllister Hi Alexander. Thanks for the reply. I'm afraid the Files Log is completely blank.
Should I try a re-install?

Edit: Withour re-install, I tried it on a single folder and it indexed and performed as expected. I then tried it on a folder containing subfolders and it sems to be doing that ok too.Files log now has many files listed.

The "Help" link (top right) doesn't work, so I'm not sure how I can check for a single file - i.e. if I have 7 PDFs all on the same sort of topic, how can I see any (or a specific) individual one without using "search"?

I do like the preview pane - very clear and very customisable.

Alexander User @Colin, only files that are found using some search string can b viewed. Thank you for reporting help issue, we will investigate this. Help file is located in /help sub folder of application folder.
