Cary Adams Please explain searchable and encrypted. If the document is searchable, it cannot be encrypted. If it's encrypted, it cannot be searchable. It is either secure or insecure.

BinaryNow It is searchable because we have OCR which will transfer image into text. Such PDF can be encrypted or not, it is your choice. If you encrypt it, only people with a password will be able access the content and search in it if they want to.

BDrJ Hello,

BinaryNow As long as your have your product key which you can receive only during this giveaway, you will be able to move your install to a different computer. You will not be able to install future builds free of charge, so my suggestion is to archive your product key and your download for a future use.

Joe M Will this program encrypt PDF files that have already been scanned or created?

May 5 2015 at 10:29am Copy Link

BinaryNow It will not, it uses scanner or webcam for input, but we have PDF Impress Tools ( part of PDF Impress which is on sale today) which will do exactly it. You can learn more and download trial of PDF Impress from: http://www.binarynow.com/...f-impress/
Or just save $40 and purchase it here.

Thanks!
Awesome!! :-)

"archive your product key and your download for a future use."
I should think so ...

"You will not be able to install future builds free of charge"
It's always the same story - indeed, I can understand, logical ... ;-)

Best Regards

Danny To encrypt is only Acrobat PDF reader and it should not be a different brand ?

BinaryNow Encrypted PDF can be opened with Adobe Reader and also with any brand PDF reader which support encryption. One other alternative could be PDF Impress Tools from PDF Impress.
