The Internet is fast; computers are powerful. It makes sense, then, that live televised entertainment has found a new home: PC monitors. Popular commercial services like Netflix and Hulu are commanding a strong part of the television market in an age when watching TV no longer requires a TV. I was a resident assistant at my college a few years ago when they made the decision to cut cable service.
