Have you ever tried one of those fancy To Do List applications, only to find yourself hopelessly lost in a maze of settings, unwanted features, and a busy-busy interface that overwhelmed your already-overwhelmed brain? If this describes you, I'd like to introduce you to my little friend -- Paper!

When you launch Paper, you get a big text field and NOTHING ELSE. Nothing to figure out. No complex commands to write down on a sticky note. Just a big text box that literally begs you to start filling it with tasks, projects, and notes. It hearkens back to a gentler time when we used pen and paper to keep track of our lives -- now, with Paper, you can have that magical experience again, only this time coupled with the efficiency and power of a computer!

If you need a computer to specifically tell you about important dates and deadlines, and pop up annoying boxes alerting you to everything under the sun, then Paper is not for you. But if you have the brains to make a note to yourself that something needs doing at a certain date and time, and just need a way to keep that info stored somewhere for your reference, then look no further than this wonderful little app! Best of all, Paper stores all of your lists as plain text files, meaning you can open them using any text editor and use them in other applications!

Jarius User I would love to put this app to the test but everytime an action is chosen other than typing the annoying "Please Buy" message comes on! This is such a turn off and doesn't give your software a fair chance with potential users!

Vitaly Ovchinnikov That's a limitation of the demo. I've done my best to make it less-annoying yet effective, as it doesn't pop-up while you working with tasks, but shows when you try to save your work.

Perhaps you are right and I need to adjust it a bit in the future versions.

Thank you.

John Molinar HI,
I miss (and need) -folding/collapsing- of lines in your application.
Would be really important in my perspective and certainly a great advantage for the product!
Is this scheduled / planned for the future ?

Vitaly Ovchinnikov There are some plans for filtering a single project. Folding is yet too complex according to the application's idea, while the ability to hide all the projects except the current should work quite well.
