HJ B Use of the word "Anti-copy" in the name of this product is somewhat misleading.

1. It does not prevent making a copy of the entire document.
2. It does restrict the ability to use the copy/paste functions, i.e., capturing a portion of the pdf.
3. It does restrict conversion of the document from pdf to text or to MS Word.
4. However,
A Segment (or all) of the pdf can be captured by highlighting and using Win-Shift S. The result is a photo (graphic) of the highlighted material that can be pasted into another document or printed.
B. If the entire document is printed and then scanned, the result can then be converted to an unprotected pdf using Acrobat or other conversion tools.

As far as I can tell, this program does not add any protective functionality that is not already in Adobe Acrobat and some other pdf programs. If you do not have any such other program, then this program gives an inexpensive but limited way to semi-protect a pdf.

There seems to be a potential disadvantage is this program is used to protect a document. Other programs use a password system to permit you to later unprotect a pdf. This program does not use a owner controlled password system. Therefore, if you make a protected document you would be wise to make sure you save the original version, so as to permit you to make modifications in the future,
