What are people saying about Perfecto Encryptor

Mappi75 No thanks, very restrictive software:

- Each license allows installation on 1 computer.
- Transfer of a license to another owned computer is not allowed.

Benjamin User **Transfer of a license to another owned computer is not allowed**

Can we at least deregister the license and register it on a brand new computer?

We sometimes have an issue with our computer and must start everything afresh. But unfortunately, the computer is renamed and if your license is allocated to one computer, you won't be able to register it because your computer would have changed it name and will be recognized as a new computer even though it's the same computer.

I had this issue with all the license that have such restrictions and could hardly ask the vendors to allow me to install it on my computer again because they can't make sure you did use the same computer...

So be carreful with such restrictive license. Make sure that you have, at least, the possibility to deregister a license so that you can use in the situation mentioned above.

Tetiana User Greetings from Ukraine, thank you for your interest to our software.
Yes, you can remove and transfer the license to another PC.
But for this you will need to contact our technical support, within 5-10 minutes you will be able to transfer your license to another PC.

Petr Suggest you relax your restrictions somewhat. If I have encrypted files and must use them on another computer, due to a failure or theft of my first computer, I DO NOT want to be dependant upon your support being available in order to recover my file content. This is just not workable in the real world.

Due to such license and use limits, I won't look further at your product, even though I am interested.

Your install program should give at least 3 days use, without a registration, in case I want to recover my files on another computer. That would protect your software and your customer's interests.
