Lesley Knight Hi, the interface languages are English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and Czech.
As for the language of the calendar you're making, you can use absolutely any language as the software supports Unicode.
You'll find the Language Editor at the end of the calendar languages list - use the Editor to add the names of months and weekdays in your own language and save them in the program.

Lesley Knight David, you can enter your own custom size (along with page orientation) in the calendar wizard, right after setting the year and month. If you chose a design template in the previous step, it will be resized to match your dimensions.

Ralph Bressler I had a program from AMS Software called Photo Calendar Creator. I liked it so I though I would order the PO version. I ordered, installed and registered the PRO version with this offer. The program looks the same, has the same options but DOES NOT say PRO. Either the program did not register correctly or the programmer did not bother to include the word PRO ANYWHERE in the registered version. In any case, because of this error, I believe bought the same program for a second time. How do I get a refund?

Nelson Therrien Interesting, but there are a couple of features that I'd like to see added:
- Canadian holydays...
- The possibility, at least, to duplicate a holyday group, instead of always starting from scratch and having to put all holydays...
- The possibility to import holydays, from Google Calendar, for example...
- I don't know if it's already the case, but I didn't see it: we usually build a flipping calendar with the picture at the top and the month on the bottom, taking two pages size... All the models seem to be made to fit on just one page...

There is a number of features that are not available in the Standard version and only available in PRO, e.g. adding a photo collage, inserting holiday names automatically, saving calendars to PDF or TIFF (CMYK), export to Photoshop. If you can use these, it means that you have the PRO version.
Besides, there would be a big Upgrade icon on the toolbar in the Standard version.

It is possible to add your own holiday group (or edit any existing one). Duplicating a group is a good idea, we'll try to realize that in the next update.
There are no ready-made templates for the flipping calendar in the current verion, but you can make one based on a 12-page layout (by duplicating pages) and then save it as a template via the File menu.

By the way, I admit that the program is very good and was worth buying only small minus for the lack of Polish-language menu - though plus the ability to set Polish language when creating the calendar.

Chris Roy Jackson I was VERY Surprised by something I saw in "the Fine Print" (above), so I want to ask you about it :
"Lifetime return policy."
Does that mean that (for instance), (say) in 6 months (or a year from now), I find that I have not used the program at all, or discover that another Calendar Creator is more suitable for my purposes, (or Whatever),etc.
You will issue a complete Refund ???
If so, you are One of the (VERY) few software vender that offers the best guarantee ever for customer satisfaction.
That shows that you have a tremendous amount of confidence in your product!!!

Just One more question about UpDates:
"the Fine Print" (above) says: "Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for 12 months. For versions after that, upgrades will require additional payment, which will be discounted."

Does that mean "Major upgrades" (ie. v.2.** to 3.**)
or
all updates (including "minor updates (ie. v2.02 to 2.99) ???

Chris Roy Jackson One More thing Does the software support repeating Events?
(ie. an event that reoccurs every XX days , weeks,etc.)
and If SO: Does it support exceptions ???
Example: I have a recurring Event every 14 days (every other Wednesday) EXCEPT when that Wednesday occurs on a (Designated) Legal Holiday. Then it is moved to One ("Non-Holiday") Day earlier or One ("Non-Holiday") Day Later (whichever... depending on if the "Holiday" is One Day or More than One day).
Would a scenario such as that be supported?

Lesley Knight Hi, v.8 has a lot of new calendar design templates. There were also some improvements in the print module and lots of minor bug fixes.
Right now, we are working on the next version with some major new features. There will be several new calendar types, such as weekly planner or booklet calendar with smart printing; an updated holidays database where the user can add floating holidays for several years to come; improved image management and more. The new version is due within a month.
Our software license includes one year of free updates, so everyone who orders Photo Calendar Creator v.8 now will get v.9 as a free update soon.

Lesley Knight Hi Bertie, you can actually copy the program folder from your C: drive to another location after installation. However, some of the program data will be stored on in the AppData folder of the C: drive and this cannot be changed.

Michael R. There is no moon-astrology-calendar integrated (e.g. like in https://cafeastrology.com...ry2017.png). This would be a nice feature... Do you plan to extend PCC with such a feature?

What about the dates like eastern for the years beyond your database-entries? Can the database be extended by the user or does he need to buy an upgrade?

There is a lunar calendar with all the standard moon phases. Astrological signs are an interesting idea! We'll consider adding those in future versions.
Regarding your second question - I'm not sure I get it right, but if you mean the holiday database - then, sure, the database can be extended by the user. You can add new holiday groups as well as edit existing entries. If you meant something different, please let me know, Thanks!

Robert Welborn I work at a nursing home, can this calendar creator, be used to make my calendar? I will be making 11 x 17 calendars and I put all of the activities for each day on the calendar....about 5-6 activities per day(usually use 10 or 12pt font). Would I be able to do this with this and then print it? Right now, I pay for a website that has a word template that I can fill in each month.

PRC Calendars can be created for how many future years? Also, dates of holidays are available for how many future years? If date information needs to be updated in the software for future years, does the customer have to purchase the updates or are they available without charge?

- The database has holiday dates up to 2020 in the current version. We're planning to update it before the end of this year and add holidays for several years to come, until 2025 I suppose. Software updates are totally free within 12 months after purchase, so you can be sure to get this update for free.

Christian User This software is unusable. After the year of support the soft is disactivated and comes back in trial mode.
The support provided me another serial and after one year the soft returns in démo mode !!!!!
This software only operates one year.... An advice : keep your money !!!

Before an honest consumer who has bought a license, you have the obligation that he can at least use the software in good conditions. It is very disappointing that loyal users who pay for software licenses are penalized by the protection systems of your software.

Our engineers do their best to deal with this bug, but it still appears on some of our clients' computers, especially for those who have older versions of the software. Have you considered updating your version? We've implemented tons of new features last year, and a lot more are coming soon.

1. Sure, users can create and save their own templates. You save it this way: File > Save As Template. Your templates will be available in File > My Calendars.

There is no special option for making the calendar black & white, but you can design it without using colors. As for the photo, you can desaturate it in an image editor before adding it to the calendar - most basic image editors have this feature.

Jeanie - most printer drivers have an option to print in b&w only ( within the options dialog) - no need to mess about desaturating photos etc, just use the printer driver to do it.

We're also thinking of creating month grids with just the lines. Perhaps they'll be available in version 12 already.

I deleted the dates and day names. I am so close to getting the result I want, but deleting the dates and day names still leaves me with 2 columns - and I only want 1.
Please add the month grids to the next release. If you do, can you allow the user to decide whether that want to have a row in which they can type column titles please?

Doesn't matter which way you choose to download, it's the same file here and there.

Thank you for your order! "Calendar Creator Full" is just the file name, it's the same for all our versions actually, and "full" is there to say that it's not the free demo. To make sure you got the PRO key, try one of the PRO features, for example, save your calendar as PDF. If you can do it, then it's OK - it means that you've successfully activated the PRO version.

SKY I am about to purchase this but at the review page MyCommerce added ca. $3 Sales Tax. Why? I do not live in an EU country and this is a ripoff of the payment processor as there is no law allowing them to do this. 3 bucks is not much but if I allow them to do this now, what happens if I but a software worth hundreds or thousands of dollars through them? How can I complain then? As much as want to or need to, I refuse to buy this product, I have to decline as a matter of principle.
Thus, the vendor loses a client and I lose a good product or upgrade (I already have the standard version from way back) and I hope that AMS Software will get the payment processor stop it's greedy antics.

Regarding MyCommerce, I'm not sure that it's their own charge. There could be some tax indeed. Btw we're planning to switch to a new payment processor soon, and they told me that new taxes appear in this or that country all the time.

Thank you for the swift reply and offer to help, but I have no more time to put into this. I actually trusted and used MyCommerce as well as Avangate and Cleverbridge a lot until a year ago and they never did such things before. I haven't bought anything for over a year and maybe this is a new thing that they have to do (but I doubt it) and this time I will go ahead and buy the product with the added tax as the alternative might not be as trustworthy (like PayPal), having said that, if ever that tax is more than $10-15 in my next purchase anywhere, I'll sure complain to them directly and ask for a justification.

Michael R. Here my question some years ago:

Star signs have not been implemented yet I'm afraid - the engineers were quite busy improving regular holidays (import/export, recurring events etc.) We might add it this year, though I can't tell you for sure right now, because the features list for the next update is still under discussion.
Regarding what you saw - maybe it was the moon phases calendar? You can make all kinds of moon calendars in our software, here are just a few examples: http://photo-calendar-sof...endars.php
And for the star signs - in the current version, you can upload your own clipart for star signs to the calendar cells.

I think I referred to 'Astrological calendar is a perfect choice for those who are interested in planets and stars and their influence on everyday life' on your website, page 'HUNDREDS OF PHOTO CALENDAR TEMPLATES', section 'GORGEOUS PHOTO CALENDAR EXAMPLES'.

The star-signs change every 2-3 days, so it would be quite an effort to insert them manually. I think, there is an algorithm, so this would be the ideal task for a computer to to this...

Perhaps you'll implement this in v13!?

Lesley Knight @ Michael R. Oh, now I see where you could see it. The page you refer to presents not only, templates, but also design examples and ideas. Astrological calendar is mentioned there as an idea for a custom calendar. It's not a template that comes with the software.
I'll certainly forward your request to the engineers - maybe they can implement it. But they're actually quite busy with the holidays options right now (lots of people have been asking to display the person's age along with the birthday).

Richard Holler I see that you can add your own events to the holidays database. How well does this app handle recurring events that aren't simply "same date each year"? i.e. something that happens "the 3rd Thursday of each month" or "same date every 4th month", etc. ??

At this point, it's just the clipart signs created by our designer, so you can find them right in the built-in clipart gallery and add to certain cells, like someone's birthday. Automatically adding star signs to every cell like with moon phases is on our development plan, too.

Rich Does this do recurring events as robustly as "Calendar Creator Plus" did? Not only recurring annual / quarterly / monthly / weekly dates, monthly, quarterly, every X month/week, etc, but also things like "every 3rd Thursday of each month"?

Norm Sash I've been browsing the site but can't find this answer... Does this allow you to publish an on-line calendar for inserting into a web page or WordPress site? Can it be shared? The ultimate desire is to create a business calendar, and then share it with clients so they can reference it on-line as a resource.

Rich I appreciate the quick response, and thanks for the link to the demo. And while you do offer *some* configurations for recurring events, I do notice that it isn't nearly as robust as Calendar Creator was. i.e. you offer weekly and monthly options, but not quarterly, every other month, every 4th month, every 3rd week, the 2nd Tuesday of every other week, etc. Granted those are pretty obscure configurations, but I found myself using them from time to time in CCP, and came to depend on the robustness of CCP for quite a few things I found myself needing to schedule from time to time.

I'll still likely download and take a look at your demo version, thanks!

In fact, we offer all of the options you mentioned as examples, apart from the last one. There are daily/weekly/monthly options on the left, and every 1/2/3 etc. and weekdays on the right. The video doesn't show all of the possible combinations, so it's a good idea to download and try it!

Jane Blue Can the order (starting point) of the days be changed? US calendars go from Sunday to Saturday, not Monday to Sunday as your video shows.

Tim Parsons The installation small print suggests I can use this software on either my desktop or my laptop but not both -- is that right?

Also, the holidays database -- the update to 2025 is welcome but beyond that -- is the database updatable via download as the data becomes available, or will this require licence updates in future years?

That's right, it's a per-computer license. Of course you can transfer the software to another computer if you stop using the old one for some reason.

Regarding the holiday database - we update it every couple of years to include into new version releases. All updates are free within 12 months from the purchase date, after that, you can choose to keep the current version or update at a special price. But if you're only interested in the new holiday database, not in the new features and templates, our support team can send you the file, provided there haven't been some major changes to the software engine and the new database will work with an old version of the program (so far, we haven't made major changes like this). Hope this helps.

Tim Parsons I bought this last August, when v16 was on sale. The software doesn't offer me a free upgrade, though, despite the "12 months free updates" statement, and the upgrade deal it DOES offer me is 50% off the purchase price -- rather more than the price on offer here.

So is the free upgrade within a year offer a real thing? If so, how do I get it?
