Jester With Windows 10 almost here, will the online activation process allow the program to work on a PC which the program was already activated?

Robert Crombie If I were to create a set of JPGs as a 'How To' tutorial, to send to friends.
Can this program create something that will allow them to view the images in sequence AND be capable of allowing the user to click a BACK button to view the previous image ?

It all depends on your computer processing power, combined with the number of photos you use. For example, I'm not sure that an average laptop can handle an A0 layout with three hundreds high-res pictures. Anyway, you can try it out with the free trial version: http://ams-collage.com/download.php

Bill Blackledge Fair comment Lesley. We would be using it on a reasoably powerful desktop PC. From what you are saying there is not a maximum sheet size limitation which is hard-coded into the software - or, at least, A0 would be an option.

Steve Kenny Well that's a PITA! Tried several times to order this and keep getting this..

Well, no limit is hard-coded when it comes to the paper size, but if A1-A0 are crucial to you, then you should really try it with the free version before you order. We have not tested printing such sizes because up until now, our customers have been home users who don't make anything larger than A3. So I cannot guarantee that A1-A0 will work - after all, the bitmap is huge in this case. So it's better to check it on your PC with the free trial.

Stephen Kreyling I tried to input some numbers in the demo download, on the width it would not take 8.5 inches? It also maxes out at 33 inches wide.

I run a color printer the does 28" x 40".

So, it appears that the software does have some limits.

Please advise.

Ed Ward Google Picassa (now discontinued) was capable of producing a collage that (i) automatically resized a (potentially large # of) photos to varying degrees so that they all fit in a designated targte size (e.g., 5" x 8"; 16" x 20"; etc.); (ii) positioned the resized photos together in a collage - all positioned without any rotation, and joined together w/ a margin of 0 - x pixels between photos; and (iii) allowed the user to "republish" and see the photos automatically resized and positioned differently from the previous iteration. Very powerful, disappointed that Google discontinued, haven't found another software package that allows one to do the above. Does Photo Collage Maker Pro have this capability?

1. Is there a way to save a preferred layout as a template?

2. Is there a way to save non-standard page sizes, if desired?

3. Is there a way to adjust, make or upload your own mask, if needed?

Ed Ward The Grid collage option doesn't appear to do what Google Picassa was capable of doing. Picassa automatically resizes the photos (some thumbnail size, others normal size, and all points in-between) and places them in (seemingly) random positions so that (collectively) they fill up the target space. I've created collages w/ 100+ photos that fit into a 16" x 20" size. I'm assuming Picassa relies on some sort of algorithm to resize and position all the photos. Finally, you can click and "reset" the collage and the photos are again resized and again (randomly) positioned in the collage. The only drawback I've found is that Picassa didn't allow one to restrict the sizing of selected photos - for example, out of 100+ photos you might wish to have some always appear more prominent (e.g., larger) than others.

First of all, it's the number of design templates. There are just about 100 templates in Standard, and over 350 in PRO.
Here are some more things that are only available in PRO:
- multi-page projects
- photo book templates
- photo filter effects
- save own collage templates
- create and save own frames
- add new masks, clipart, and shapes

You need to uninstall the demo first. Then, download the PRO version with the extra templates using the link sent to you by email (it should be sent by PayPro), install and then activate your license. What exactly is the difference between the two programs? Can you give me a specific feature or item that'll I find in the pro version only so I can confirm whether I have the correct version?

Please note that you shouldn't look for "PRO" in the window heading or anywhere else - it doesn't change depending on the version. It's just the set of features and the set of templates that are different. In Standard, some features are closed, but for you, everything should be open.

Mitchell User Can you add pictures by drag and drop? I have dual monitors. On one monitor I have a folder with thumbnails of the pictures. On the other monitor I have the collage program. I want to select multiple thumbnails and then drop them into the collage program. Can it be done this way
