Randy Martin I started to buy this and I got an offer for a logo remover.
What's the difference? I thought this would take out water marks and logos as well? Since I was confused, I bailed out of buying this and will ONLY buy if I get an answer before the offer ends. Because this is Saturday, I may miss out.
What's the deal on the two different softwares?

Stage One @Randy Martin At what point did it offer you the "logo remover" option?
I'm only getting the option of the standard version or the business license.
Try the demo of (photo stamp remover) if you haven't already . It removes various types of area including logo's, text,lines, some-watermarks, blemishes etc. Not aware of specific "logo remover" program.

adamsdaddy Downloaded and installed without a hitch (Win 8.1). I picked an image with an object sitting on a desk to remove. Default setting is reasonably quick - I guess. 16 MB image. The resulting picture had clear lines left where the object had been removed. I switched to texture under options and OMG this thing is slow. It is still processing the image while I type this post. I stopped, went and poured another cup of coffee, came back and it still wasn't done. Okay it just finished but that took probably 4-5 minutes for one image and looks horrible! Instead of sampling from right around the object it sampled far from the area to be removed and picked up a phone cord and my daughter's hand. Her hand was off the desk.

Thanks but I'll be uninstalling this and just using one of my photo editors. I thought this might've been smaller, easier to load and quick but two out of three doesn't cut it.

Or I would have done -- the uninstaller asked me why, I (possibly foolishly) explained, and then it started calling a mailto: string that IE (NOT my default web program) couldn't process, and because it couldn't, the uninstaller called IE again. Rinse and repeat. Forever.

If they can't even write an uninstaller that can remove the program without a hitch, I'm probably not going to try their products again. Sorry.

(I had to forcibly shut my machine down via ctrl-alt-del and I won't be surprised if there's a mess as a result.)

Jon User I just ran a test job on several easy object removals and immediately uninstalled this software. This did a terrible job on something as simple as removing a telephone pole against a plain sky. To view the distortion it adds to your image simply zoom in close on the resulting image. It is better to have an unwanted object in the image than to what you get from this software. Just shows once again, when it comes to photo editing software you get what you pay for.

Andy Seed No matter how I try to download this Chrome says "This file is malicious and Chrome has blocked it" it only gives a 'Discard' option - doesn't give the 'Allow' that is usually there. Anyone know a way round this?

Anto User Click CTRL J from the Chrome Browser. It will take you to the download folder. For this file just " Keep Anyway" It works

Serious Noize @Andy Seed, I don't know why, but I can tell you I used Chrome 64bit using Windows 10 and downloaded and activated and installed this software fine, with NO warnings.

BUT :::: Due to another problem with my PC later I decided to restore my PC from an Image backup to an earlier time.

Just like you I am getting the Malicious warning from Chrome now. So perhaps something is added in triggering it, or maybe it was something that was missed. I don't know.

That has been my experience either way.

Jonathan Prusky The BitsDuJour receipt said "follow the steps (included in the installation process) to receive the registration key required to register the application" but there were no such steps. This left me with a 10-day trial.

How do I get the license key that at least some people have been able to get?

Edit: After reading another person's comment, I tried installing the program again without changing the name of the source file (which I always do to make the file more descriptive). This time, it DID offer me a license.

This is an unusual BAD USER EXPERIENCE for BitsDuJour. There must be a better way to implement the promotion.

Linton User I tried to register this before the promotion ended but although it initially claimed the registration was successful and seemed to install correctly... when I run the program it states that it's a 10 day trial version.

I then tried registering the license code a 2nd time from inside the installed program this time... and it says that it can only be registered during the giveaway promotion period!

WHICH IT STILL IS!!

Kaffy User Getting a key is quite odd and non-standard in my other experiences,
but it just worked easily and quickly here. You have to run your email,
start the install, and then run your email at least a couple more times to finish.

Constantin Florea @Maria Pia User, The registration key is not supplied by BitsDuJour. Instead, you would have to install the program and somewhere along the installation path, you will be able to register to get the registration information for free.

Here are the instructions from the receipt email which should clear this up:
"
Download the installer from the receipt email (this is important), then start the installation of the program and follow the steps (included in the installation process) to receive the registration key required to register the application.

Please notice in order for the registration process mentioned above to work, the installer file you download from the receipt email must have the following file name: PhotoStampRemover_Setup_pt3.exe

Graham Bourne I have clicked on the download (Photo Stamp Remover – Get it for Free) button several times but each time nothing is downloaded!
Now I am getting a message that it's been downloaded too many times and that I'll have to buy it ...
I have searched my computer and cannot find any such download!

SKY I tried to install this last night, it never moved ahead of the "get it for free" button, never got anything anywhere, so I aborted the installation and gave up. Then I looked at it's traces with my Soft Organizer app., and I found out that ONLY the start of the installment had already left 5688 or so traces in the registry and about 46 on the disk. WHY? What are those changes for? I do not trust Softorbits products anymore!
