Movies/films, whatever you want to call them, that have been created by the program. Most vendors of programs such as this provide such examples on their site, and often videos to the program in use, sometimes in a YouTube channel. At this product's site, there is nothing to show what the potential purchaser can actually DO with the program.

Clive Richards I downloaded the free version (full version with watermark) from their website. Pretty unimpressive, very few features and the few it did have did not work for some reason when I tried it. Just produced a a video file displaying one image after the other. Microsoft Live Movie Maker, also free, does a much better job of this with many more editing options. T

Harry Brogan Installed this one. Tried to make a movie three different times. Did not do what it was supposed to do. Only one photo could be seen. Did not fade from photo to photo. Uninstalled as it does not do what it says.

Dan P I had same issue as Harry. Crashed on every Codec but one. The only one that worked (MSVC Microsoft 1) played soundtrack but froze on one poor quality photo.

Software Guy Exactly the same results as the other reviewers - only Microsoft codec worked, and the result only showed a single frame but played the single soundtrack. Clearly there is a problem, but aside from that the software is extremely basic. I did not find the user interface friendly. Please fix the download version. 3.1.1.79 is broken, or at least does not run on windows 8.1.

Chris I added 143 pictures and made the movie. It went from picture 1-7 and stuck on picture 7 the rest of the movie. I didn't even try to add music.

That was 1.5 years ago and you still don't have a video showing "video samples" of what your program does.

Please come out with a video showing WHAT your program does (examples of finished projects) and please have a short video tutorial showing how to use your program.

Sam User All you need to do is to click on Add Files, then, after the files have been added, click on Go!
That creates a video of the pictures that you have added.
That is all there is to it

Ricky Rick @ Sam User ---- my MAIN point about having a video of using the program and/or a video(s) showing the end results of a project(s) is to show the END RESULTS - BECAUSE - I don't want to WASTE my time downloading "certain" programs and play with them for an hour or more to see the end results.

My time is too precious to waste time playing with a program to see what it's capabilities are.

I buy software from vendors (or get free software in this case) ONLY from vendors who give and show a thorough explaination of what their software is capable of.

The vendors who show videos and tutorials of their software ALWAYS end up making the most money on their products. No matter how SIMPLE the program may be to use.

I've tried THOUSANDS of software programs over the past 28 years (and not just from BDJ) and always spend my money with those vendors who took the time to give thorough explainations of their programs.

I know plenty of people like myself (I am on ceratin paid discussion forums compromised of thousands of people who 100% agree that unless a vendor gives the best SHOW & TELL of their software they don't buy.

Sam User Some feedback:

- The program installed and registered easily with no issues.
- I ran the program & noticed the limited number of CODECS, but it has a link to the CODECS database on the web, which I clicked, and the link works fine. - Downloaded and installed a couple of the most popular CODECS, exited the program & ran it again.
- It recognized the new CODECS automatically.

- Added a sample of 12 pictures, named the output file (very important, if not named before you click on "Go" it will just give you an output file error, although it continues to open a dialog box for you to name the file & save it in your choice of location, but still wouldn't create the video).
- After adding a file name to the address in the "Output" field/box and pressing "Go", the video was created just fine.
- the video ran smoothly, just like any slideshow.

- Clicking on the "?" for Help takes you to a web-based help page, and that is very disappointing, but to be fair, there are other programs like that.

- In terms of resolution, you are limited to 720 x 480 (or x 576), even with the latest XVid MPEG4 CODEC used. That is VERY UNACCEPTABLE resolution. Total disappointment. At a minimum, I'd like to see 1024 resolution.

- Bottom line:
If you have any slideshow software capable of adding sound files, then it is similar to this program. The difference is that in this program you have one "Avi" file instead of a load of pictures (and I know some other programs create one file for the presentation, either an EXE file, PPT file (MS PowerPoint), or their own format).

Due to its limited resolution, I will only be using it on a limited basis.

Harry Brogan Downloaded and installed with no issues. Followed the instructions as provided in the email for registration and, again, absolutely NO issues. Put in a few photos and an MP3 file to see how it would work. Results were just fine for sending to friends that don't want to have a ton of photos emailed to them. This one is a keeper for me.

Greg Newell downloaded, installed, tried it, deleted it. Resolution is horrible - pixelated. Images couldn't be rotated inside the app so you either left them or deleted... a couple of the images were even upside down! No ability to change the output file type. (you get AVI). I lost interest in the first 5 minutes of running this problem. No wonder it was free.

Kenneth Bates I am becoming sick of the way we are being treated when downloading software from this site.

It has become almost impossible to download the programs, usually because Windows does not recognise them and deems them a virus risk. Today my download was blocked the first time and, when I tried again, my attempt was thwarted because the site would not allow me to download it more than once!
Earlier this year I had paid £40 for a program with the same comment Even my appeal for a refund was rejected because I could not prove that I had not downloaded it. That was on another related site, not BdJ.
