Have you ever entered the wrong date into a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel? At best, it's just a clerical error, but at worst - you can seriously mess things up if there are programs and people relying on that date to make calculations! That's why you need to be absolutely certain of accurate date entry, and you certainly will be with today's discount software promotion, Pop-up Excel Calendar!

Pop-up Excel Calendar is a date picker for Microsoft Excel, letting you select dates from a pop-up calendar. With Pop-up Excel Calendar, you'll enjoy seamless integration with Microsoft Excel, and the ability to enter dates quickly and accurately using just a few clicks from your mouse. Featuring both automatic and manual activation, you'll find that Pop-up Excel Calendar is no further than a couple of clicks away as you work, making it the ultimate example of ease and flexibility!

As you work with Microsoft Excel, Pop-up Excel Calendar knows when you click within a cell that has a date format or a date value, or even if you are underneath a cell with some form of the word "date" in it. Pretty soon, it will be second nature to have that handy pop-up calendar show itself just when you need it!

Bob Hughes Is Pop-Up Excel Calendar compatible with Excel 2010?

Also, are you planning to offer your invoicing add-in for Excel here at Bits Du Jour? I would be interested in the Pro version.

Thanks.

james yu Dear Bob Hughes,

Yes Pop-up Excel Calendar works with Excel 2010 (32-bit Excel only).

To offer Excel Invoice Manager on Bits Du Jour - yes we'll consider it.

Thanks for your concern.

Ric 1. Does this work with Excel 2003?
2. Can the add-in be configured to show a full year, or a full quarter, or does it only show one month at a time?
3. Can I install this on a desktop and laptop with one license?

Thanks.

james yu 1. Yes it works with Excel 2000/XP/2003/2007/2010. With Excel 2010 it supports 32-bit only.

2. "Can the add-in be configured to show a full year, or a full quarter" - it shows a months only. Your recomment is great and we'll try to implement this with future releases of the program.

3. Yes you can install both on a laptop and a desktop with one license. This is detailed in the "license aggreement" document shown by the setup program. The license aggreement document is also installed on your local disk (in the installation folder of Pop-up Excel Calendar.)

CJCotter Why did you limit this to just Excel? This program would be useful with the entire Microsoft Office suite of programs, all of which I use every day.

james yu To Oleg Vishnevetski,

If the current promotion for Pop-up Excel Calendar runs well (yes it is), and BitsDuJour accepts it - yes we'll try Excel Invoice Manager Pro, which is our best selling edition.

It may take several weeks to let BitsDuJour consider and accept a new title. If you have a trial version of Excel Invoice Manager and it expires before you can purchase it here, contact me for a trial key so that the program can run in trial mode for a longer time.

james yu To Ferds,

Thank you for your recommendation. That's a good idea to implement. I am sure that we can add it in the recent new releases.

james yu To Roberto,

Sometimes the Plimus ordering system decides to have someone manually review an order. Usually they'll unlock an order soon.

Roberto Great, I'll wait.

could this feature:
Underneath a cell that has some form of the word "date" in it

be called with another languages?

like spanish: "fecha" or a custom word? :)

james yu To Roberto,

Currently the program looks for the word "date" only. But allowing a user to change the default and to specify his/her own word (or even a word list?) is better. Thanks.
