Kenneth Bates I did see "MAC Only" on the first page but no mention of it on the product page. I could load the trial but I don't have time today to test it thoroughly. Please confirm one way or the other - preferably near the point where we select the version required. Thanks

N. User MAC?

What about Windows???

Or at least make it clear that this FREE OFFER is useless for the majority ....

Kenneth Bates For the benefit of later comers. I did download the trial and was immediately aware that the download was (to me) an unknown format. I clicked on it and Windows wanted to know how to open it. You have been warned!!!

John Woosley I tried to select Audio Split & Trim but it goes to a page saying the offer is no longer available.

Arnold Overhaart The PC deal is not the same as the MAC deal and I find it strains that the price of the PC software is the same as the MAC software because the PC software is way simpler!

Bob C When starting the program, get two alerts that files oK8yH3sX7kM and Y5fNZAxZdtK could not be opened - that they don't exist. Then program opens with window for silence.wav. If you open an mp3, it gives it a name based on date and time with an extension of wav. Preferences is always greyed out.

Alex Ferri Hello,

The program converts any audio file to wav to be able to apply transformations. The reason why the files are named with date and time is that every time you apply a transformation a new file is created with date and time for name. This way when you undo or redo operations the program goes back or fourth on the chain of files. Each new audio file created represents the state of the audio generated at that precise date and time.

Loyal Customer Someone had asked a legit question a long time ago:

"Andy Gooch: Does this have any advantages over Audacity?
Nov 9 2019 at 9:29am"

I am interested in a reply from the developer.
Thanks.

Alex Ferri Hello,

I do not know Audacity except for primary contact.

Maybe the multi-track feature with each track on its window may be a beneficial differentiation.

Loyal Customer Thanks for the reply, Alex.
I had expected you guys to know a competing product very well.
I was wrong.

Alex Ferri Hello,

I used Audacity to assess its audio transformation capabilities and copy, paste, and mix while pasting capabilities. You can do what you do with Power Audio Editor what you can do with Audacity. Power Audio Editor multi-window approach is the main feature that sets them apart. I believe it speeds up the work and makes it more practical. I would like to finish by saying that Audacity is a great application.

Would be interesting to try it out.

Lloyd Seto My antivirus software called the download a potential security risk. One reason is that it uses an insecure connection. So I am afraid to override the download process. I hope there is a secured connection we could use.
