Virus Scan for Power-user

D J Here we go again. A software developer stuck in the 1980s. The installer forces the software to be installed on DRIVE C ONLY. Even though there is wording in the installation wizard that alludes to the ability to change the installation parameters, you cannot. That is a deal killer for me. My Drive C is a SSD reserved for the OS and frequently used apps. I really wanted to try this software, but without having the ability to install it on a drive of my choosing, install terminated and download deleted.

HJ User The installer steps include an opportunity to decide what features of the application are to be installed. However, the step does not give any installment options. Is this because it was an error to have that step included or is it because the installer is not working properly.

HJ User I wasted a good deal of time this evening on this application. Efforts to install word forms were mostly unsuccessful. In addition, every time an attempt was made to install a word form into an open word document resulted in powerpoint opening.

Efforts with the icons and photos were no better,

Either the instructions are inadequate or the application is super buggy

Mr Dave Would like to see this work for Libre Office. I gave up on MS Office years ago, too many bugs. Very nice that this offer is for Personal and Commercial use, thank you for that!

Gary User does not fully install - it appears to install but there is no desktop icon, no listing in the app list, no subdirectory in windows, no reference in the registry other than the revo uninstaller created "uninstall" msi.

Power-user Gary, it's an add-in so it's normal, you will get it in PowerPoint / Excel but not as a stand-alone app

NRL Hi,

Can you please clarify this for me?
Is it a lifetime license with free upgrades or do I have to purchase a renewal plan every 12 months?

What is the upgrade pricing after the 12 months is done?

"After you purchase Power-user it may be used for 12 months and will not function after that unless you renew your subscription."

"Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for the lifetime of the product?

Thanks!

Power-user Hi,
This is a 1 year free plan. After 1 year, if you want to continue you'll have to subscribe to a plan. Currently the yearly plan is $240.

Loyal Customer For one year?
Then we are left in the dust or $240/year?
I'd rather not mess up my Office installation by installing and uninstalling an outrageously overpriced plug-in. Even $4.99/year is too much for it.
Thanks, but no thanks.
