HBOY Not much of a deal. You can get Ultra 16 on E-Bay for $44.99 shipped free. I have been watching this site daily for a year and I wish you would offer some software worth having. This is a good software but not any kind of a deal. Basically all you advertise is the same software over and over.

S R In defense of BitsDuJour, they've offered deep discounts on Sticky Password and Revo Uninstaller, two of my all-time favorite apps.

Ricky Rick @ Thomas User

The version is 16. Down and to the left of the BIG GREEN "Get This Deal" button it shows in bold type: v16 for PC

HBOY As I said, over and over. I dont know how many times I have seen Sticky Password and Revo Uninstaller offered. Every week or two its Hard Disk Sentinel or some kind of learning software.

Mariusz Lewandowski Tempted by good reviews I purchased it yesterday.

I got this message during installation:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The process cannot continue because the (Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package SP1(x86)) install was unsuccessful. Please contact Microsoft technical support for assistance. The installation will now abort.

The installation of this program was unsuccessful. Please report this installation issue by going to http://www.cyberlink.com/cs-help and attaching CyberLink PowerDirector 16.0.zip from your desktop.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Of course, there's no new zip file on my desktop to attach and report.

And MS Visual C++ 2008 does not install on my system (error 1935) -- I'm not going to track it, all my apps work flawlessly.

Your web site "Specs" section does not list any MS Visual C++ packages to be present. My desktop perfectly fits your requirements.

(Windows 7/64 Pro, 7i, 16GB Ram)

Any suggestions?

Constantin Florea @Mariusz Lewandowski, I've just contacted the vendor regarding the issue you mention.

Jim Hampton This concerns me: "PowerDirector enables easy disc authoring, letting you produce to CD, DVD and even Blu-ray."

Can I not just simply write the file out in .AVI, MP4 or .MKV formats to the local or network hard drive? Who the heck burns anymore?
