Yfor I have a lifetime license of Presentation Marker which I bought two years ago, but that product does not exist anymore (at least not under that name.) What is (or was) the difference, and is there a way to upgrade the license to the currently promoted product? If not, then which product do I own a license for?
By the way, this product is both unique, bug-free and indispensable. If will greatly enhance any live presentation. I use it mostly during shared screens via gotoMeeting and WebEx and it works perfectly.

Garvey Liu Yfor, Presentation Marker, Presentation Assistant and Presentation Assistant Pro were merged into one package, correspond to Stadard, Professional and Ultimate edition. The old license of Presentation Marker is valid for the current Presentation Assistant Standard edition. Or you can upgrade the license to Ultimate edition at http://www.presentation-a...grades.htm

HJ B 1. Is it possible to superimpose markings on a playing video? I understand there is a necessary limitation because the background is likely constantly changing. However, If one wanted to temporarily put a date or an running caption or "time left until in meeting break", it would be useful to do so.

When I tried it, the audio from the video progressed, but the frame of the video remained the same until I dismissed presentation assistant.

2 The timer function displays a count up or count down timer. Is it possible to have words also displayed -- such as "Meeting will begin in"?

3. Is there a listing of program limitations, so that one does not spend a lot of time trying to accomplish something that will not really work?

g harris I want to try this today before the deal comes on --
is the Trial version Full Featured? or is it lessened in some way --
and if so, how? so that I know what to expect.

edit -- I want to use it to draw on sporting videos --
I often playback such videos in MPC-HC because it can do slow motion,
instead of opening a software such as V-1 or cSwing for Golf videos,
and this would be excellent to just let me draw analysis lines immediately like that in MPC-HC.

MK Very good range of presentation tools - maybe best I've seen (I own PointerFocus and Epic Pen for comparison). Interface needs improved for higher res screens - menus are very small. May buy.

HJ User I downloaded the trial and I am very impressed with its capabilities.

1. Is there a pdf manual?

2. I do most of my work on a desktop computer, but I travel with a laptop. Do you require a separate license purchase for each of my computers?

3. Do you have any recommendations as to how this program can be used for presentations to remote viewers? i.e,, I am at my desk and wish to make a presentation to one or more persons at another location.

4. As I understand this, the markings are made on a transparent window that is on top of any graphic or document on the screen. Therefore there is no permanent marking of the graphic or document. There is no save function, but there is an export function that creates a new graphic of the document, with the markings on it, without leaving a permanent marking on the old document, am I correct?

5. Do you have a recommendation as to how a presentation, using this program, can be recorded - with or without voice over? More or less like a powerpoint recording. Your help function does not appear to mention recording. I understand that graphics of each page can be saved and displayed in powerpoint or some other presentation program; however, I am talking about creation of a real time recording.

6. My impression is that this can be used with a pdf or ms word document, but the markings must be "cleared", as one goes from page to page, because their presence on the screen otherwise remains. So if there is a presentation using several pages or graphics, the markings will not be present during a post-presentation question and answer session. Am I correct? If so, I suggest you create a function that can be set to automatically creates a pdf of the series of marked pages, so that it is available for reference. The setting would automatically save and append cleared pages.
