Dennis Johnson The email receipt did not contain a registration code. That area was blank.

No problems downloading the installer though. Just no way to register it. And since we only have 5 days to install and register, it'd be nice to receive the registration code.

Hans van der Schoot Download and registration is ok.
I've password protection on my pst files, this program can't open it.
In my opinion is there no possibility to fill this in.
I can't use it.

Constantin Florea I am sorry about the issue with the empty registration code. We will resend you the receipt emails containing the registration codes in the next few hours. However if you want to, you could resend it sooner from your purchases page or from this promotion page (there should be a link toward the top allowing you to resend it). The receipt should contain the code this time.

Lindie User Hmmm - I am another who has not received a registration code. I have gotta say with all of the above stating similar problems, some a hours before me, it is pretty poor service not to have this problem rectified by now! Why has it not been attended to? Is there an ulterior motive? You gotta wonder about the service or lack thereof.

Felix User I received the email with the serial number.
But when i try to install, i get the message "PST Viewer Lite cannot be installed on the following versions: Windows 2000 and Windows 8.1 x86 . The Setup Wizard ended prematurely." This on a PC under Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB 32bit , x64 based processor.!!! Tryed on another PC with windows 10 x64 bit. There i got no message and the installation stopped. So I have nothing !! It should be a nice programma but the promises are nothing.

Eustace Phenackertiban OK, folks, here is (at least) one solution that works. When the receipt page opens that tells you your registration is on its way in an email, and has a download link for the program, don't close that page. Check your email, and if (when?) you find that the registration code field is blank, go back to the receipt page and click the "Resend it" link on that page. The email that arrives as a result will contain the registration code where expected.

At least, that is how it worked for me. Of course, YMMV... ;-)

Jorge User I downloaded and installed the software in a desktop computer where I already have Outlook installed, just to test this program.

Then I decided to install it in a notebook where I DON'T have Outlook installed, nor am planning to install it due to operational reasons.

So I installed this time the program in the notebook, but when trying to register it I was told that the registration key was already assigned to another user (ME!:-)

Then I tried to download anew the program, this time in my notebook, but when entering my details I was told that only one "purchase" is allowed per person.

How comes? It's true that the two computers are different, but I am the owner of both. And if this program may be useful for me, it's in the notebook and not in the desktop computer.

Any comment from the manufacturer?

SeaCay Hello PSTViewer,

Is this BitsDuJour version limited in any way?
I have just taken up the offer, installed the software and entered the license key.
Once I started PSTViewer, I pointed it at my Outlook repository directory and on each of my four .PST files, PSTViewer produced a message
"Unable to read PST file (Blah.pst)".

MS Outlook 2016 has no problems with opening and using any of my PST files.

Please advise.

Eustace Phenackertiban @SeaCay, don't know if this is related, but when I pointed to the .pst file in appdata I saw the same thing. Then I closed Outlook, and pointed it to a different .pst file, and everything worked fine. I could view a list of my emails, my folder structure, everything. Give it a try and experiment, and see what you find.

Gary Garbutt Thanks Tony received new receipt and installed software, all ok. Very impressed with software works very well, better than I expected. Great for checking old pst files, give a full list of folders and contents. I am very happy with this software and would recomend it to any one who has several email accounts and pst files.
