Pim Joosten If you are considering buying True Image, do make sure to look at the Acronis True Image 2015 forum. Many features have been removed compared to the 2014 version. There is a sticky (https://forum.acronis.com/forum/65498) in that forum discussing all removed features (at least 16!). This is why I will not upgrade to 2015.

Lito Yeah this is definitely not a good version of True Image. I find that the 2015 version is a downgrade. I'll be sticking to 2014 also.

Tony W Thanks for the useful info on this version- anyone know if obtaining this here allows the option to try/use the 2014 version if we don't already have it to compare?

1.can there been any problem when wanting to recover an image taken from a ssd to a hdd (really mean ssd to hdd, not the more common migration from hdd to ssd) e.g. because of different alignment? Or are there any special settings necessary to make the recovered windows working and this without performance loss (possibly alignment problem)?
2. any more details regarding "fineprint" e.g. license per pc / per user,..;hardware dependent online activation procedure,...?
thank you for clarifying in advance
