Virus Scan for PureVPN

_*_ I a convoluted way, this sounds like free lifetime upgrades.

From the Fine Print:

"Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for 36 months. For versions after that, upgrades will require additional payment, which will be discounted by 100%."

PureVPN Updates will always be free. For continued service after 36 months, users will have to renew their accounts to avail the free updates and service

_*_ So, what this is in reality is a subscription service?

Will the software work after 36 months go by if the user does not "renew their accounts"?

SamT No it won't, as you can check out yourself in the Fine Print, PureVPN is a subscription service, that offers you 3 years of unlimited internet traffic, tunneled through one of the fastest and most excellent server networks at this extraordinary price.

A question to PureVPN: I did buy recently a subscription for two years with free smart DNS addon! Is this smart DNS addon included in the BDJ-deal also?

SamT FINE PRINT: "This promotion cannot be used to upgrade or extend an existing license"

This is really sad, because I also would have wanted to take advantage of this great deal and put an extension on my actual license !!!! :-(

Just for everybody else: I already use this service for some time now, and I am very happy with everything since the beginning. Speed and variety of servers, UI of the program, Different MODE settings,.a.s.o....best VPN I ever used.

Thanks PureVPN for this special Discount-Deal!!! (even though I won't benefit mysef)
A very BIG THANK YOU for BitsDuJour as well of course!!!!

P User This is for up to 5 devices, concurrently. I don't need that many, I just need one.

But it's said in the Conditions, installation is only allowed within 15 days after purchase, so if I buy a new computer later on, I cannot use PureVPN on it.

It's also in the Conditions that a transfer of license from one device to another is allowed - how does this go along with the above 15 days limit?

If I install PureVPN on my one computer, and if it fails after 15 days, will I be done with PureVPN, since no transfer is then possible anymore?

P User My above comment was not to your liking, hence my asking anew:

"Fine Print - You must install/register the software within 15 days, and cannot do so afterwards."

Does this mean you cannot install the software on another device after 15 days, within 5 devices, even if you registered the software within the 15 days, from another device among the 5 devices allowed?

InterestedParty Just tried to buy this but... Plimus/bluesnap failed :

"We are unable to complete your transaction at this time. Your order was not completed, and your account will not be charged."

most likely as I had a VPN running at the time (being funny like that - when I pay over the internet, I like the payment details to be somewhat secure).

Oh well - I guess I have to buy from other providers who do not see "running a VPN connection" as suspicious (even though they themselves try to flog one ;-)

Robert Koff How does this service compare to Hotspot Shield? My subscription is about to run out and would like to know how they compare.

wts Please spell out explicitly how the "Lifetime License" as mentioned above is activated relative to the 36 month limitation also mentioned above.

Is this in reality the same deal as stacksocial's "PureVPN: Lifetime Subscription" https://stacksocial.com/s...of-purevpn? If so, I'd rather buy from BDJ upon assurance that this BDJ offer is in essence "lifetime" meaning renewals at no cost.

Why do I prefer to buy from BDJ? Over time I've seen that BDJ is honorable and tries to do the right thing with respect to qualifying their offerings, standing behind them, and respecting both their customers and their software providers.

I understand, of course, that "lifetime" means the lifetime of the company's present incarnation, but the company behind PureVPN seems to have a good reputation.

Constantin Florea @Kristen User, I am sorry about the confusion. The last time we ran the promotion for this product was in January 2016. Since then it is possible that the vendor changed the pricing and the license policy for the product. We only update the BitsDuJour page (pricing and license policy) when there is going to be an upcoming promotion for the product.
