J Hello,

I see that there is no C++ or Perl syntax highlighting. Will you be implementing this soon?

QSnipps hasn't been updated since May 2014. Are you still actively developing it?

Thanks again for the free version (V. 2.1.80) that you gave away here on BDJ back in July, 2012.

I installed it and just tried to register / activate it for the first time. Even though I copy and paste the BDJ registration info, a message box says:

The specified license data is incorrect. The name or serial key you entered is incorrect. Please check your registration email and try again.

The promo was stated that this software could be installed and registered at any time.

Could you please help out?

Yes, I am still developing QSnipps. For the past months I've been working at a newly, fresh coded version of it, but because it's cross-platform, it takes some time to make sure everything works Ok, both on Windows and Mac. :(

Regarding the problem you are having with your old registration code, please send me an email using the contact form from the QSnipps website and we will sort it out asap.

Will you be adding C++ and Perl syntax?

Also, do you have an plans on releasing version 3.x anytime soon? Or will version 2 still be out for some time?

MK Why is the registration name "BitsDuJour Promotion"?
I didn't pay $12 for someone else's name to be tagged to the softrware.
BitsDuJour ran QSnipps as a freebie back in July 2012 - that would be okay for BDJ to get it's name in the registration.
But it shouldn't if I'm paying.

Raymond Can you install to a usb stick and also store the database on the usb stick? I have a new development machine but I still have to use my old laptop for the old legacy systems that I need to maintain....

Gabi L @J: Yes, C++ and Perl will be added. Working on it.
Version 3, has to be released by the end of the year. Still working on some new features :)

@MK, you can contact me, from the website, and I will release a license key on your name.

@Raymond Unfortunately, the current version is not built to be run from a USB stick, although version 3 will surely run.
