riad af Tried to install the trial version to check language compatibility, same problem with Norton premium indicates file not safe at time of the installation and deleted it . Norton did not say anything when scanning the trial version file, only when tried installing the program

Alexander User To be honest i don't know if it is compatible with Arabic,because I have no idea of Arabic language. Easiest thing to do is to try demo and see if it works. Thanks for your interest by the way :)

Alexander User There is something called 'false positive' that's when AV program reports a clean program to be infected or suspicious. All I can do is assure you that it is clean as well the site. My main concern is keeping my software and site clean because that's what I do for a living.

Colin McAllister Question/Suggestion for the developer.

A technique used in general training, is to give delegates a booklet/worksheet/notes pages contain presentation slides that are the same as those used by the presenter, except that keywords are redacted.

That means that the delegates have to actually watch the presentation (rather than their mobile phones/laptops email! ) and fill in the missing words as the presentation progresses. Or, if given as a worksheet/homework, they have to read supporting material (or do some easy research), fill in the blanks are come back to the class with their ideas on what the redacted words are.

Having watched the video, I can't see if that is currently possible with Quick Memoriser? However, if it was possible to adapt Quick Memoriser to allow a more tailored redaction, that would be useful to me and possibly other trainers. I would create my text, then paste it onto slide X (and format as required), then redact some keywords and paste *that* text onto the worksheet/document.

Alexander User I checked the demo it works. There isn't any key just download and it should work

It works with text only,no import of other formats,it can paste any text though.

Peter User May I suggest the ability to automatically cover complicated words such as scientific or technological words that needs to be remembered. e.g.H--------- is found in the red blood cells that carries oxygen.

this can be done by covering (with very few mouse or keyboard strokes) all >5,6,7 or more lettered words.

or an alternative would be to to cover all words except the most common 1000 or 2000 words in English. I am sure there is a list somewhere.

This will help the student memorize or know complicated words. I wish had something like this in High School, College and Grad school.

This will put your product at a much higher value.

Alexander User That is a nice idea,I thought of it myself,but the thing is the application is not made for English specifically,it should work with German,Russian,Italian...
So word lists are not an option.
Covering words based on word length is a good idea:)

Other than creating separate 'texts' files within the application folder, is it possible to have multiple collections in quick Memorizer?

As for now in case you have many texts there is search function at the top so you can fast locate text you want.

I will repeat my answer to pevious false positive:
There is something called 'false positive' that's when AV program reports a clean program to be infected or suspicious. All I can do is assure you that it is clean as well the site. My main concern is keeping my software and site clean because that's what I do for a living.

Alexander User Click on the "new'' icon on the right (blank page) and it will read what is on clipboard. So copy/paste is how you import text.And also no need to save anything it is stored in program database internaly so you don't need to bother with open/save dialogs etc...

Alexander User It doesn't have installation file, its all one exe file. So in that sense it is portable.
Texta are stored in :C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Memorizer

Praveen Hi Alexander - Would you consider letting the user select where the data is stored so that the app can be truly portable?

I have a USB drive that I store my portable apps to easily use across different computers. It would be nice if I am able to use this app the same way.

Alexander User Yes that would be better to store files in the same folder where exe file is,than you can copy folder on USB and that's it. I'll do that soon.

Multiple collections,him...not bad a bad idea. Currently if you happen to have lorts of texts you can quickly find particular one by typing part of title in the screen with texts ,collection in your terminology

Constantin Florea @bvssunnydale, The installer you get after purchasing the product, is an unlocked installer meaning you don't actually need a registration code to unlock it once you install it, because you will have the full version of the application.

Jim Hilton the https worked find but I could not click the http link, had to right click on it and save link as, then Chrome intercepted it and said "Insecure download bloacked" and gave me the option to "Keep" it.

HJ B This program does what it claims. It is useful for memorization and also to create a kind of self-testing for the substance of the text.

Perhaps this developer might adapt this programming for another purpose. People who give speeches or who teach, often prepare a detailed text of what they intend to present. Then they either put some key words in the margin or underline key words in the text. In that way, they can make their presentation without appearing to be reading it, since the key words trigger the the sequence and detail of their presentation, but they can always look at the detail if they loose their train of thought.

What I am suggesting is that a program could pull out the key words and put them in the margin and in bold very quickly, and the user could modify or add to the list of margin words.
